This apartment is unique in its decor. You will feel at home with beautiful art beside modern conveniences. The location can't be beat.
Your host is also a great source of suggestions on things to do and places to see not to be missed in the culturally rich city of New Orleans.
Gary is a Native New Orleanian who has lived in San Francisco and travelled the world, only to return home to NOLA! Having returned to marry the girl next door just a few months before Katrina, he has played his part in rebuilding this wonderful city through various real estate projects and other entrepreneurial ventures. And now he's never leaving!
Gary purchased this apartment in 2008
This building was falling down after 'The Storm,' as we call it. When the chance came up to buy it from an out of town investor who was unable to recover from storm damages, we jumped at it.
The moment the neighbors saw that we were fining the place up and getting good people living there, they were really happy to see the neighborhood improving, one property at a time.
We are proud owners and Proud New Orleanians!
We decided to make your visit as comfy and soothing with the help of some of our vast collection of Indian and Asian art. Amassed from various world travels, the art is collectively known as Meditation Art. We sell much of the art and decorative items through

Nice location, nice apartment. A/C worked great. Very good mattress/bed. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it looked fine. We used the street cars rather than having a rental car. That worked out great. It was a few block walk from the apartment to the street car stop, but that was no problem. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful and we loved walking different routes back and forth.
My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter at Tulane. Close by to the college and quiet nice area.
Gary was great to talk to and available at all times. We will be back!
My husband and I stayed at this property for 3 days at the end of our vacation. We had been staying in the French Quarter, but decided to check out this area of New Orleans and we are really glad we did. The location was great, very close to Magazine St. We were even able to walk to the zoo and the street car on St Charles.
The apt. had everything we needed. The kitchen is rather small, so I would not recommend cooking a big meal. But who wants to cook when there are so many nice places to eat! We found Surrey's great for breakfast, and is only a few minutes walk away.
Overall, a very nice place to say in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are many stairs going to the apt., so I would not recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues, but other than that, we found the area very convenient and safe.
Gary is great to deal with. Very quick to respond to any question! Thanks Gary!
Very clean and you can park right out front. Close to everything without the crowds.
My husband and I stayed at this property for a couple of days after I attended a convention in the Central Business District. This property fit the bill of being in a nice quiet neighborhood. The apartment is very nice, in fact it is exactly as pictured. The location was great for walking and having more of a local experience. Gary made the check-in and check-out process very easy and although we didn't need to contact him while there he made himself available and I know if we had called he would have been helpful. If you are looking for a quiet, yet convenient place to stay this one fits the bill. Namaste.
Highly recommend this extremely well-located Uptown apartment. Steps from Magazine Street and convenient to Tulane, we had a lovely stay and Gary could not have been more gracious!
You are in the heart of Uptown New Orleans, walking distance from Whole Foods and other grocery stores, antique and other retail and coffee shops. Public transit is as close as 1 block away.
World famous Audubon Park and Audubon Zoo are a short walk as well.
