Fully restored by the owner, Merman Farm offers quality accommodation of real character and charm and seamlessly combines many original features with modern design and home comforts ideal for a friends/family get together. There is a French Oak free standing kitchen with feature brick fire place with built in gas AGA, a spacious sitting room (seats 10) with log burner and large flat screen TV with Sky movies and Sports, dining room with an oak dining table (seating 10), 5 bedrooms, 3 en-suite, main bathroom with bath, separate shower WC and basin, an attic room with board games, a down stairs WC with shower (designed for washing dogs) a small patio area, ideal for sitting out and barbecuing. Free Wi-Fi access. Off road parking for 5 cars and an enclosed lawn area 25m away adjoining a one acre paddock ideal for dogs or out door activities.

The Peak District offers stunning scenery and breathtaking landscapes for you to enjoy and explore. The Village of Tideswell stands in heart of the Peak District national park. Famous for its fine church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as 'The Cathedral of the Peaks', the village is also noted for its well dressing and carnival wakes. There is excellent walking and outdoor pursuits including cycling and climbing close by. Millers Dale is just outside the village, Mam Tor, Castleton, Chatsworth House and Gardens including a farmyard and adventure playground for the children and Bakewell famous for it's 'Bakewell Pudding' are only a few miles away, the spa town of Buxton is within a 15 minute drive. Tideswell has many fine country Inns and excellent restaurants. Local shops include a Chemist, Butchers, co-op, Greengrocers, Bakery, Post Office and much more. Everything you need for your stay.
