Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Grand Junction - Charming Victorian

3 Bedroom House Within Walking Distance Of Many Attractions

This Queen Anne Victorian home was built in 1897 and still maintains many original features but includes recent upgrades. Walk inside the enclosed porch and enter into the dining area (seating for 6-10) which also has a desk workspace. The living room is next to the dining area and has 11' ceilings with new furniture (sofa has pull-out queen bed) and flat screen TV with Netflix Instant Service and cable. The master bathroom has been completely remodeled and is very spacious. Walk through a walk-in-closet to the master bedroom, which has a new king-sized foam bed from Serta. The laundry room is conveniently located near the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and has stainless steel appliances and small eat-in area. A Keurig coffee maker is available at the coffee station as well as a French press and a standard drip coffee maker.

Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and a (small) full bathroom. The queen room has a crib if needed and the other bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds.

A queen air mattress can be provided upon request. Please contact the owner about parties larger than six.

Two cruiser bikes and a bike trailer are available for exploring the downtown area. Please contact owner about accessing them.

Please be aware that our staircase is historic and therefore rather steep. It may not be suitable for the elderly.

NOTE: If this property is already booked by someone else for the dates you require, please check out our other property - VRBO #592498. It is also located downtown and is similar in size.

Last minute weekday discounts might be available - contact owner for details if this applies to you.

Met and exceeded all expectations

  • 5 of 5

This is a great house in a great location. The house is nicely updated but yet still has plenty of character. It's well stocked and has everything you'll need. The kids loved the toys and the park just a half block down the street. We really enjoyed the backyard and covered patio. We will definitely stay here again.

  • 5 of 5

Very clean, very well stocked with all the necessities needed, very well maintained home, quiet neighborhood, great information in the home to help you watch TV or movies, great advice on local restaurants, good instructions on how do operate most things in the home and what to do when leaving. Would definitely go back

Quiet comfy haven

  • 5 of 5

It was peaceful. If you have children this property is a must. It was so quiet, and the kids have a safety gate at the top of the stairs. So relieving. Also the place was well organized! Super clean. The master bedroom was so pretty and the bed was so comfy you fell right to sleep!

Weekend refuge in Grand Junction

  • 5 of 5

This cute little house was the perfect place to lay our heads during a weekend visit to GJ. We were a small group of young professionals who spent the weekend in town, downtown, & on the wine trails. As much fun as we had, The Grey House was a highlight of the trip.

This well maintained & loved house was clean, well appointed, & well stocked with linens. Downtown was mere blocks away by foot or bike.

We would definitely plan to stay again, on any future trips to GJ.

Charming and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in August of 2016 for a family reunion being held a few miles away. The house and property were very well kept, charming and CLEAN. We really enjoyed the adorable backyard with the green grass, grapevines, and fire pit. The kitchen was the most well equipped of any we've stayed in (we usually rent houses when we go on vacation). The only less than stellar thing is the layout of the downstairs bathroom and bedroom, which is somewhat awkward but is easy to work around. It was a quick walk to Main Street, and we also explored a bit by riding the conveniently provided bikes to Lincoln Park a few blocks away. It was a quick drive from the house to Colorado National Monument, and we had a great time checking that out. The owners were delightful and so pleasant to work with. I would definitely stay here again if I ever get back to Grand Junction!

Cozy and homey

  • 5 of 5

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this charming vintage house. The minute you stepped inside you felt welcomed and invited. They thought of everything we could possibly need, and when I forgot something at home, they were able to accommodate us. The house was very clean. We hope to stay here again next time we are in Grand Junction!
