This townhouse is the perfect place to stay whether for a weekend, month or longer. Fabulous situation within easy walking distance of the tube, local shops and restaurants.

Tastefully furnished with great amenities. Comfortable beds, white linens and scrupulously clean. This house was definitely five star and lived upto and beyond our expectations and would highly recommend. We shall definitely return, no where else compares - thank you.

We have recommended this place already!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the 3 bedroom with patio flat. Angela was highly responsive to us and she leaves very clear notes in an easy to follow guide book that she has put together for just this flat and location. Read it! It is very informative. We were able to find the tube and the bus stop, pubs and grocery stores very easily. She also leaves her recommendations for transportation, which we followed and felt that we saved money with the passes.

It was nice to spend the evenings in this quaint area of town near London after a busy day in the city center.

We are a family of 5 and the bedrooms were clean, comfortable, charming and roomy for London! We enjoyed coffee here every morning and lounging a bit in the evenings!

One thing we learned in our summer travels through London, Ireland and Paris this summer is that the communication with the home owners is extremely important and helpful. Angela was a gracious host even electronically (smile) which made our stay relaxing.

Overall, a wonderful stay and we would love to come back if we get to visit London again!!

Thank you!!

My husband and I, with our daughter and 2 grandchildren, recently spend a week at the 3 bedroom townhouse. It was perfect for us and was exactly as represented! We could not have been happier with our experience. We all sleep so well that we had energy to explore all day. Angela was on site and responded immediately to any questions we had. She arranged taxis from the airport and when we left. Her information was critical in helping us get around easily. We loved walking thru the park and catching a ferry into London. We all loved it and our family had a perfect vacation, largely due to the accommodations..W e will cherish our memories of our stay.

Overall meet our needs but photos make it look nicer than it is

  • 3 of 5

The apartment is very well appointed and cones equipped with everything. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Angela was extremely responsive.

However, I feel like the photos make it look nicer than it is. I know London is expensive but for what I paid for my family of five adults I was looking for better. The shower/tub setup in the master bath was a pain. I dont want to be challenged when I take a shower! Give me a full shower curtain (so the whole bathroom doesn't get soaked) and more room to not have to do a dance to clean myself. Don't show me a nice floor in the kitchen and then when I get there it is covered in foam tiles (looks cheap). Overall the place is junky, packed with a ton of stuff that takes away from the experience and is not shown in all the photos.

I did not feel comfortable at all with leaving my bags in the cramped hallway while waiting for the people who were there before me leave. That was unsettling

Did we feel safe here? Yes. Were the beds comfortable and did we sleep well? Yes. Was it clean? Yes, for the most part. Were we warm and toasty during a winter stay? Yes although one bedroom was a furnace. Did we enjoy our stay? Yrs but based on the photos I was expecting it to be nicer. I wanted both sofas to be comfortable (one was good, the other had no cushion left). I wanted a place that was more light and airy and not stuffed with furniture in every nook and cranny.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry to receive this review, particularly after you said 'we had a lovely stay and your townhouse served us well.' We have hosted many families over the past seven years, and this is the first time we have ever had this kind of feedback. The majority of our guests find the apartment well equipped, comfortably furnished, stylish and personalised to create a 'home from home'. I am astonished that you would refer to it as 'junky' and packed with 'stuff'. Both couches are extremely comfortable with plenty of cushions. The ensuite shower is over a bath (as pictured) but you also had the choice of a dedicated shower room. As a service, we offered you the option to leave your bags in the downstairs entry hall because you were arriving at 10am, when guests were leaving. Despite your protests, it was not possible for you to stay in the apartment with your large suitcases while the cleaners were working - they would not have cleaned to a high standard. You mentioned that you found it expensive, but at just over £200 a night over the Christmas period, I can assure you that this 3-bedroom apartment offered you good value. I'm sorry that you weren't entirely happy, but I suspect that you have chosen to focus on the negatives in what is for most people is an extremely positive experience. All the best, Angela.

Great stay!

Great stay in a fab location for rowing in Putney. All the little extras from toilet roll to coffee made an easy and enjoyable self catering stay!

Hopefully we'll be back next year.

Thank you!
