About the property

**$125 mid-week til June **3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath Sleeps 10~ Book 4 night stay 5

This beautiful bay-front home has phenomenal views of the Netarts Bay, from very room. The home is comfortably furnished with high end furnishings and art throughout. It’s conveniently away from most traffic, yet located right next to the Netarts Bay boat launch. You will be within walking distance to the unique and superb Schooner Restaurant.

You will find the inviting kitchen to be both roomy and well equipped. It boasts newer stainless steel appliances and lavish granite counter tops. The island with seating makes this kitchen perfect for cooking, entertaining or both.

The picture windows in the living room deliver an impressive view. Quiet and peaceful or stormy and torrid, the view is always mesmerizing! You will find plenty of seating, a nice size flat screen TV and DVD player. All of this is kept cozy warm with the pellet stove.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, it’s own attached bathroom, a walk-in closet and, again, outstanding views.

Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, it’s own TV and DVD player, windows overlooking Netarts Bay, and a full bath right across the hall.

Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with twin bed on top, twin on bottom and a twin trundle neatly tucked away underneath. There is also a full size futon in this room. Again, the full bathroom is located across the hall. This is a great room for kids with plenty of room to play.

Delight in watching the boats from the generous deck with seating. All while cooking up steak or burgers on the BBQ.

We have ample parking with enough room for your boat.

We welcome your well-behaved pet (with a deposit) and children. We look forward to your stay!

Had a wonderful time at Jewel! Great house and the beach access is perfect. We had a fire on the sand right in front of the house and watched the sunset! Good Times!

Great place on Netarts Bay!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at "Jewell of the Pacific" was great. The views from the wrap around windows were spectacular and the instant access to the beach was terrific. You can sit for hours just watching the bay, crabbers, birds, ocean, and all the natural beauty of the area. We also had a strong winter storm hit and we could feel the power as the wind and rain hit the windows. The Schooner Restaurant is quite good and an easy walk. You also have easy access to Tillamook, Cheese Factory, grocery stores, Oceanside beach, and Three-Capes Scenic drive. The house accommodated our family gathering and the kitchen worked fine for our Christmas prime rib dinner with family and friends. The internet was a bit slow but worked for simpler tasks. All in all we would love to stay here again any time of year!

Nice Vacation House

  • 4 of 5

This was our second year to stay at this house on a crabbing/fishing vacation. It's a nice house and is in a good location for our puposes. However, it is getting "tired" and had some things that need to be dealt with, like...the bbq is completely rusted out an not usable, the patio furniture downstairs is completely rusted out an unusable, the master bedroom has a glass door looking onto the road with no shade and everybody can see in not to mention the light comes in early in the am. There are a few other things, but over all it is still a great place and met our needs. The beds were comfortable as is the rest of the house. It has a really nice view too.

Netart Bay near the boat landing

  • 4 of 5

The property has a 180* degree view from two raised decks and a viewing room. It is located directly across from a small beach that is very popular with locals for launching paddle boards, kyacks and snorkelers for crabs plus children and dog friendly visitors all day; and some night time fires. It's busy but never crowded.

The house was designed for the former owner of the Schooner restaurant which is located around the corner. It has three bedrooms, and can handle four adults and four children. This was our third year in this home.

There is a public boat launch mainly used for crabbers. It can get very busy but crabbing beds are as scattered as the boaters.

The house has some wear and tear as expected. The front rails would not survive a twenty something beach party.

Netarts is one of several OR beach towns that has a more practical lifestyle and services without anxious tourists. Shhh.

Stunning Views

  • 5 of 5

Took our family to Netarts for 4 day weekend. The house was wonderful. Spent a lot of time reading, visiting, barbequing on the deck and enjoying the gorgeous view of the Bay. The kitchen was well stocked - open to dining table and living room. Great location. Thanks

What a fantastic home away from home. We had our whole family including grandchildren with us.

The crabbing and clamming were great and the kids loved the beach which is just across the gravel

road. What a perfect view of the bay from both upstairs and downstairs. We hope to make this an

annual event. Thank you Heather for such a wonderful experience.

Beautiful views, spacious, but problems with cleanliness.

  • 3 of 5

We had another couple staying with us during our vacation. They had to leave the queen sized bed because of the strong urine fumes. They ended up sleeping in the "children's room" for the remainder of our stay. When I tried to do a load of laundry I found a lot of thick, black mold inside the washing machine. It looked like tar at first. You could tell it had been there for some time because there were trails of it running down the side of the machine. I bought some bleach and ran it through the washing machine two times. This faded the mold stains, but we were not comfortable with doing laundry in it. It still smelled moldy. We called the management company to report these two incidents. The manager told us they would send a repair person up to fix the washer, after we completed our stay. We were told to go ahead and run the required loads of sheets and towels before we left the rental, in spite of the mold problem. I hope the next family didn't have mold allergies.

The house itself was beautifully laid out. Our bed was comfortable, and the kitchen appliances did work. The home shows a lot of pet damage on the woodwork, furniture, and carpets. The location and views were wonderful. I think more attention and inspection by the cleaning staff would have prevented the mold and the strong urine odor. Bring cleaning supplies with you.
