A beautiful luxury semi-furnished apartment, with 3 bedrooms with king beds, 1 bathrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen. Located in the historic center of Malaga, near the birthplace of Picasso and the Plaza de la Merced. Only a few meters from the Alcazaba, the Picasso Museum, the Cathedral and the Plaza de Toros. It is ideal to enjoy a walking tour of the historic city center and a beach day, as it is located near the beach Malaguenta at only 10 minutes walking.

The highlight is the Andalusian sun terrace with views to the Castle of Gibralfaro, where you can sunbathe or watch the sunset over the rooftops of the old town or maybe just read quietly with a good breakfast.

Roomy apartment in a great location

The location is great and convenient, plus it is quiet. We easily walked to all the sights in the old town center, and one day, as another reviewer pointed out, I walked through a short tunnel under the citadel to the beach in about 20 minutes. This apartment is next to a small daily indoor food market, plus there is a small mom & pop grocery & a bakery just 30 seconds walk from your front door and a Dia grocery store less than 5 mins away. You are next to Plaza Merced, whose neighborhood is filled with cafes and restaurants. If you like local inventive Spanish food and wine, we highly recommend eating at Mainake Casual Goumet, Pasaje de Campos,10 (tel# 627-080-499) located on a small side street which parallels Plaza Merced. They open for lunch around 12.15, which is a plus if you are not yet on Spanish time and are only 2 minute walk from the apt. Menu in English & a few other languages, only seats about 28 people, slightly more expensive than average, BUT worth every penny!!!

Vincete is a welcoming host, and has a whole table of materials devoted to any tourist information you could get from the local tourist office. Everything in the apartment was fine, and we were very happy with our choice. We will recommend to friends.

Wonderful city centre property

We came for New Year and had a wonderful week here. We're regular visitors to Malaga and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The apartment is in a great location just behind the Plaza de la Merced, very close to all our favourite tapas bars and a short walk through the tunnel to the sea. Its very spacious, spotlessly clean, great fully equipped kitchen and the terrace is lovely. Thanks Vincente we'll come again.

our stay in Malaga at Vincente home Oct 3rd thru the 8th

I could not have picked a more perfect apartment to stay in Malaga. Vincente picked my husband and I up at the airport and brought us to the apartment, eliminating so much stress. The apartment was perfectly located to everything in Malaga. City center, constitution square and a car is totally unnecessary. Out the door was Plaza de Merced for sitting and watching and eating. Discovered many restaurants for tapas, highly recommend El Meson de Cervantes very close to the apartment, easy walking distance. the apartment was very beautiful, clean, and comfortable, great deck for sitting outside. Vincente and his son provided everything necessary for a comfortable to Malaga. Perfect not one complaint! 5 stars all the way.

Very clean, well equipped.Bed very comfortable. LOVED the sunny balcony! The apartment is in a great location, just off Plaza Merced, and 2 mins from the new Mercado merced,- great for food shopping, but also full of fantastic tapas restaurants. Would definitely recommend & hope to return!

Great Central Apartment with Balcony

Stayed 5 days in this apartment which is very centrally located in the old part of town beside La Merced. This is the first apartment I have stayed in, and I have stayed in many rentals, that felt like someones house, furnished to a more comfortable level than normal, clean and well maintained with the added bonus of a sunny balcony looking over the rooftops.

Vincente x 2 (father and son) could not have been more helpful. We didn't have to book a taxi to the airport as Vincente offered that service which made life very easy for our early departure.

Thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable it was a pleasure meeting you.

Fantastic Stay!

We stayed at the apartment for one week and highly recommend it to anyone.

The apartment is very well kept with a great balcony with the view of the Alcazaba.

The location is ideal, one minute walk to the Plaza de la Merced and very close to the city centre for shopping. The Beach is a 15 min walk.

Vicente was a pleasure dealing with. He and his daughter were very pleasant and helpful on the day of our arrival. We are very thankful for their recommendations and would recommend this property over any rentals available directly in the Plaza de la Merced.
