This premium 630 sq ft condo is located in the historic and elegantly restored Bab's building. The charismatic Babs, built in 1905, will take you to the soul of the Missoula community in a heartbeat. Centrally located on Missoula's vibrant Hip Strip, the Babs is surrounded by the city's best restaurants and bakeries. Everything is just a walk away.

The condo has been thoughtfully designed for a homey 'Victorian/Queen Ann feel' and is ideal for out of town visitors looking to explore Missoula and the surrounding area. Brand new, functional and open kitchen, high ceilings and new windows bring lots of natural light to the space. Updated bathroom, appliances and other amenities are complimented by the original rough oak floors, vintage arches and exposed brick walls reminding visitors of the old times. The master bedroom comes with a private bathroom, air conditioner, a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress and solid wood hickory bed frame and nightstands. The living room with two couches is made for relaxation. Search the web using high speed wireless internet, watch a movie or play Wii on the HD flat screen TV, or read a book in the rocking chair.

Along with this clean, comfortable and secure condo come the additional onsite features for relaxation and entertainment:

- An entirely renovated, communal basement lounge including an official sized pool table, a big screen Cable TV and comfortable seating. Also an icebox, sink, toilet, and washer and dryer are easily accessible.

- A classic, fenced garden with a large communal patio including chairs, tables, benches and a propane Viking grill.

Kindly note: Families with kids welcome! inside the condo's storage closet can be found: a pack and play crib, high chair, an umbrella stroller and toys.

About Jenni Rohrbach

Missoula, as for many people, is a special place to us. It is where we met as students in college and where we always knew we wanted to call home. After school, however, life and work took us to Asia, Finland and New York City, before we could both settle back in Missoula together and start our family. Now with our daughter Maija, we are pleased to share all that the Missoula community has to offer with visitors at our Bab’s condo.

Why Jenni Rohrbach chose Missoula

Jenni first came to Missoula as an exchange student attending grad school from Finland. She immediately fell in love with the surrounding landscape and community but most of all Kurt. Kurt’s family is from the area and always knew the Montana lifestyle was the only one for him. They both enjoy the outdoor and cultural opportunities Missoula has to offer including skiing up Pattee Canyon, taking their daughter Maija to Missoula’s award winning Children’s Theater or enjoying Missoula’s restaurants, breweries and distilleries. They feel fortunate to call Missoula home and are pleased to share their love of the area with each of their guests.

What makes this apartment unique

The Babs is one of Missoula’s premiere historic buildings. Located near several of Missoula’s gems including downtown, the Kim Williams trail and the University, visitors can easily walk or bike to restaurants, shopping, bars, and hiking trails. Not to mention the best ice cream (The Big Dipper), pastries (Le Petite) and beer (Kettle House) are just around the corner. In addition, the condo itself is fully stocked with the comforts of home including a full-kitchen, children’s amenities (pack n’ play, high chair, books and toys as well as eating utensils) and king-size temperpedic bed. The Babs also offers a rec room with pool table and a garden area with a Viking grill available for guest use.

Our little home away from home!

We just keep coming back! This is the perfect home base for us when we visit Missoula for fly fishing and relaxation. The newly remodeled kitchen is so fresh and bright! The condo is charming, comfortable and well cared for by Jenni and Kurt!

Great Location

While the shower water pressure issue was a problem at first, the owners were sensitive to the needs of their guests, and were able to have it fixed while we were there. It is now in good working order! This cozy condo is in a perfect location to walk to the Farmer's Market, downtown restaurants, and the River Trail. We enjoyed our stay!

Owner's Response: Thank you, it's important to have a well working shower! If we would have been more aware of the problem to begin with, we would have got it fixed for you before your arrival. I think the pressure just went down so fast and unexpectedly, something was blocking the pipe, which has been removed and replaced now. All good to go:)

The Babs condo is a beautiful place in a great location!

The condo was perfectly sized for my family of four, and we loved being able to walk to dinner, ice cream and shopping. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, is the low pressure and inconsistent temperature of the shower, which was almost unmanageable. It was very time (and water) consuming because of how long it took to regulate. With that caveat, we would recommend this property to friends and family, and hope to stay there again ourselves someday. The loveliness of the condo and perfect location outweigh that one issue!

Owner's Response: Thank you for this kind review. We haven't had problems with water temperature or pressure in the past, but now hearing it from our guests, this is something we immediately want to take a look into. I believe we can get it fixed, as our other two condos, the water runs fine.

An excellent place to stay!

The condo #11 was newly remodeled and very chic. All amenities were provided. The downstairs hang-out area is a great bonus. The location couldn't be better. Only thing that could be improved upon is the ability to get a consistent shower temperature, a problem as I understand from the shared boiler for the entire building. Don't let that deter you; you will enjoy your stay.
