About Tim and Bonnie Endacott

My wife and I are semi retired (meaning she is retired and I am still working). We live in the little town of Huntsville, AR. on the Kings River. We built a house there 15 years ago. We have nine grandchildren and one great grandchild all but two of those are boys. The bigger boys all love to fish and that is one of the biggest reasons for buying this property. Not to mention that old Grandpa loves to trout fish too. I am an engineer in the oil industry which takes me away from home two weeks out of the month so Bonnie (my wife) does most of the management of the property.

Tim and Bonnie Endacott purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Tim and Bonnie Endacott chose Arkansas

Where better to buy a piece of property than near the biggest trout fishing river in the world which is the White River. Fishing is great!

What makes this cabin unique

The unique benefits of this property is it's right on the river and you can sit on the large beautiful deck and have a view of the river and the boat launch is right beside the house. Also the White River joins the Norfork River just down stream so you have two rivers to fish.

Perfect cabin right on the river!

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from staying here & we had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for us. Very clean, full of the essentials, and very comfortable! The boat dock on the property is so handy & made our trip that much more enjoyable! So convenient! Our favorite thing about our stay was how caring & friendly the owners were. They checked on us multiple times & were so helpful. We will definitely be back as soon as we can! I would recommend to anyone.

Great cabin next to the river.

  • 5 of 5

Peaceful and quiet. Clean and well appointed.

Owner contacted me to be sure all was well.

Didn't turn on TV for 3 days and nights.

Would recommend for a family or as in my case two fishermen.

Two bedrooms One with full bed and roll away.

The other with full bed and bunk bed.

Great trip despite snow in mid-March!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great trip arriving to a snow covered winter landscape on Saturday night. Luckily it warmed up enough for us to fish in the river from the boat ramp at the home on Sunday. Monday we fished the lower White River/Norfork River junction and caught enough trout for a nice lunch cooked right on the river bank. Tuesday we had a informative trip to Blanchard Springs Caverns. Wednesday we took an easy drive to a Lake Norfork marina where we rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon on the lake. Great place for a family or a group of fishermen to explore the area or fish the two rivers and nearby lakes.

Just Perfect!!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed here several times and just love it and always hate to leave!!! Only thing it needs is floodlights so you can see to grill (gets dark so early now) and lights to see the river at night too..........Great location, just minutes from Mountain Home but quiet and peaceful, all you hear is crickets. I will be back again!

Owner's Response: The lights on the outside is a good idea for sure. My husband and I were up for a couple of days and when we started to grill outside it is hard to see. This was something we had already talked about before and haven't got done yet but it is on our to do check list. Glad you enjoyed it. Just a footnote: We are closed down until March of next year. Hope you will visit again soon. Thank you for being such a loyal customer.

Exactly what I needed

  • 5 of 5

Property was exactly as described and it had everything we needed and more than we expected. My only regret was not owning a fishing boat so that we could've utilized the private ramp a few feet away. It was very quiet, the house was clean and in good repair and I cannot think of anything that you would need that was not provided. I will definitely be staying there again and would recommend to anyone thinking of renting it.

We watched a blue heron catch a fish the first day we were there and geese flying over the river and house the next day. A very quiet neighborhood that allows you to enjoy the sights and sound of nature right at your doorstep.
