About Julian Lesser

Hi All,

My name is Julian. I'm an artist living in Queens, NY. I love the energy of NYC and enjoy running around the tall building and loud streets.

Sometimes it gets to be a bit much - which is why I purchased my home in Kingston. Kingston, like NYC, is also a center for arts, right in the middle of the Hudson valley. Unlike NYC, it offers laid back living and beautiful country scenery.

Come visit Kingston (when I'm not enjoying it) and see what the Hudson Valley has to offer!

Happy Travels,

Julian

What an amazing home. Julian should be very proud. Beautifully decorated, charming with lots of character and spacious. Home is very clean and very well equipped. My family and I traveled from all over the country to Kingston for our son's wedding. My husband and I rented Saint James for a week and everyone was so pleased with our choice of this home. We loved all the antique pieces of furniture. Some of the wedding guests that came by were also very impressed. We made many beautiful memories here. Our son's wedding theme was Gatsby and the sitting room had the perfect feel for that theme. The photographer loved it too, can't wait to see the pictures. We wished we could have stayed longer, but all good things come to an end.

Julian was a great host, checked to make sure that we were comfortable and if we needed anything.

Thanks for a perfect week (minus the rain ). Congrats!

Kings (really Queens!) of Kingston

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I rented the St. James property for a chill bachelorette weekend. It could not have been more perfect. The house was just as advertised - very clean, well-decorated, and fully equipped. The walking distance to Uptown Kingston was perfect. Julian was a dream to work with and had fantastic recommendations. We went to his dinner, breakfast, and coffee suggestions. We absolutely loved our stay and all plan to return to the area (and hopefully the house!) soon.

A wonderful, relaxing home in a great town!!!

  • 5 of 5

I was born and raised in Kingston, New York and since 1978 have lived in Long Island. The St. James was our choice for a 9 day rental to visit family, friends and old acquaintainces. The property was spotless, neat and impeccably decorated. Even though there were only two of us, we did have several visitors, a girls night to cook together, a family barbecue and each event was better than the next. The amenities are everything you could want and the tv/dining room combo is the perfect spot to relax with friends. Kingston and its surrounding areas have so much to offer and this is a perfect location to see them all. Julian was attentive to any questions and was a pleasure to interact with. HIGHLY recommend this place if you are visiting the area - - you will truly enjoy their home!!! It is the kind of home where you would say - - WOW I wish I had a place like this!!!! Thanks Julian!!!

Beautiful historic home

  • 5 of 5

The house has many beautiful details. The beds are comfortable, each coming with their own air conditioner. There is a clawfoot tub, nice sized rooms, additional sitting/reading spaces and a nice porch and sweet backyard. The decor made me think the owner is an architect/interior designer as everything is designed and cared for with the finest taste.

A great place to relive history

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I rented this house in Kingston for a week and found it to be as advertised and more. The house was great. I only wish it could talk, it must have had a lot to say. The back yard was great to set out in during the evening and watch the birds and squirrels run about. The pictures of the house cannot do justice to the art on the walls and the unique furniture.

I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to walk through history in a lovely city.
