This apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a 3 storey building in Lagos

This superb 2 bedroom apartment is ideally located almost opposite the vibrant, cosmopolitan marina of Lagos. A short walk down the main Avenue or Avenida will take lead you to the historical town centre. The bus station and train station are close by which would make it ideal for anyone wishing to get out and see the Algarve.

Located on the 2nd floor of a distinctive modern 3 storey building noticeable by its deep red colour facade. The apartment has wooden floors throughout except in the kitchen area and all fittings and cupboards are white, which adds to the bright, airy fresh, almost scandanavial feeling this apartment offers.

On entering the apartment you walk into a spacious hallway with a feature mirror and console table with modern spotlights fitted into the ceiling. To the left are the two twin bedrooms and in front of you is the bathroom. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and fitted wardrobes and partial views out to the marina and the main avenida in Lagos. The bathroom is modern and fitted with a bath as well as a shower over the bath.

The hallway leads to the right into the open plan living and dining area. The living room is furnished in a comfortable modern style. One of the sofas converts into a sofa bed sleeping 2 children or 1 adult (comfortably). There is a flat screen TV & WIFI and a DVD/Stereo system. There is a dining table that sits 6 and also a kitchen which comes equipped with every modern appliance necessary to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible.

Patio doors from the lounge lead out to the balcony terrace which looks onto a new square with landscaped gardens, shops, cafés and the recently finished modernly designed Town Hall. The ceiling of the terrace has the quirky feature of polished concrete which is part of the unique design style of the building. There is a table and chairs making it ideal for pre dinner cocktails while watching the sun go down.

Lagos has much to offer the young and the old and the cobbled streets are full of restaurants and cafés catering to every taste and budget. The 5km stretch of the the golden sands of Meia Praia beach is a 20 minute walk away which is one of many beautiful beaches the rugged coastline of Lagos has to offer.

This apartment is ideal for a family holiday or even a winter getaway and really should be seen to be fully appreciated.

The city’s old name - Lacobriga - indicates that its origins are Celtic and date back to approximately 2,000 B.C., and for a long period it was a port visited by Phoenicians, Greeks and Carthaginians.

During the Roman period the city prospered and grew, and it became necessary to build a dam to supply water and a bridge to span the Bensafrim river. In the 10th century the Arabs built a ring of ramparts, but this was not enough to stop the Christians conquering the city in 1249.The 15th century was a golden age for Lagos.
