Pernera and Paralmini: Pernera, 5 minutes drive away, quieter than Protaras and Ayia Napa, but one of the prettiest. Several sandy bays perfect for families as shallow crystal clear calm waters great for bathing, snorkelling. For the more energetic, there’s an array of water sports. Fancy a boat trip, Pernera’s harbour has everything from leisurely cruises to high energy power boat rides. Several organized fishing trips and a modern catamaran also sail from the harbour or just chill out at the waterfront café where you can take in the beautiful ocean and watch the world go by. You’ll also find pretty churches which is set within a beautiful courtyard with an ornamental fountain and well maintained gardens. Walk along the boardwalk that hugs the coast from Penera to Protaras stopping every so often for a drink or a bite to eat at the sea front bars and restaurants.
Paralimini, 5 minute drive, bustling traditional town retaining it’s old charm, picturesque narrow streets and it's beautiful square situated around a stunning Church. Great tavernas and boutique shopping.
Protaras: 8 minute drive away, popular with singles, couples and families. Overlooking the resort is the elegant Ayios Elias church, beautifully lit up at night, the surrounding countryside scattered with the famous Protaras windmills giving an aura of nostalgia of years gone by. Quieter and more family orientated than Ayia Napa, Protaras boasts dramatic coastal scenery, turquoise blue water, endless white sandy beaches with lifeguards and Blue Flag rated for service and quality, secluded coves perfect for snorkelling and diving – it’s most famous and arguably best beach in Cyprus is Fig Tree Bay stretching over 10 miles white sandy beach fringed by pine trees. Family entertainment on offer, from crazy golf, aquarium, waterpark, dancing water show. Ayia Napa: 12 minute drive away and 15 minutes to the famous award winning Ayia Napa Waterpark. Ayia Napa has long since shed it’s wild party image of the late 90’s and in reality offers the best of both worlds. On one hand, the resort's a buzzing cosmopolitan beach resort with many trendy bars, an array of restaurants with international and traditional cuisine and boasts cutting-edge world famous clubs. On the other hand, there's a more tranquil side to this once tiny fishing village. Beautiful snow-white beaches, narrow cobbled streets and serene shady squares with traditional tavernas all show off a different side to Ayia Napa. Visit the medieval monastery and stroll around its gorgeous gardens. Chill out on the white sands of the famous Nissi Beach where the crystal blue water shimmers just a few kilometres west of the harbour. Pull up a chair at a pavement cafe in the atmospheric main square and watch the world go by or for the more energetic choose from an array of watersports or try the bungee
