Our apartment is in an enviable and super location, close to main tourist resorts like Ayia Napa, Protaras, Penera or head to the traditional Cypriot Red Soil villages from some history and culture.

Pernera and Paralmini: Pernera, 5 minutes drive away, quieter than Protaras and Ayia Napa, but one of the prettiest. Stroll down main street winding down to sea front, pass many bars and international and traditional restaurants. Several sandy bays perfect for families as shallow crystal clear calm waters great for bathing, snorkelling. For the more energetic, there’s an array of water sports. Fancy a boat trip, Pernera’s harbour has everything from leisurely cruises to high energy power boat rides. Several organized fishing trips and a modern catamaran also sail from the harbour or just chill out at the waterfront café where you can take in the beautiful ocean and watch the world go by. You’ll also find pretty churches which is set within a beautiful courtyard with an ornamental fountain and well maintained gardens. Walk along the boardwalk that hugs the coast from Penera to Protaras stopping every so often for a drink or a bite to eat at the sea front bars and restaurants.

Paralimini, 5 minute drive, bustling traditional town retaining it’s old charm, picturesque narrow streets and it's beautiful square situated around a stunning Church. Great tavernas and boutique shopping.

Protaras: 8 minute drive away, popular with singles, couples and families. Overlooking the resort is the elegant Ayios Elias church, beautifully lit up at night, the surrounding countryside scattered with the famous Protaras windmills giving an aura of nostalgia of years gone by. Quieter and more family orientated than Ayia Napa, Protaras boasts dramatic coastal scenery, turquoise blue water, endless white sandy beaches with lifeguards and Blue Flag rated for service and quality, secluded coves perfect for snorkelling and diving – it’s most famous and arguably best beach in Cyprus is Fig Tree Bay stretching over 10 miles white sandy beach fringed by pine trees. If lying on golden sandy beaches is not energetic enough, there’s a huge choice of water sports. Children will love 'Yellow Submarine' and 'Glass Bottomed Boat'. Great choice of traditional, modern and international cuisine, shops, tavernas, bars and a couple of nightclubs. Family entertainment on offer, from crazy golf, aquarium, waterpark, dancing water show. Stroll along the beautiful boardwalk and hug the coast, take in the beautiful clear water and stop of the many cafes, bars and restaurants as you head towards Penera.

Ayia Napa: 12 minute drive away and 15 minutes to the famous award winning Ayia Napa Waterpark. Ayia Napa has long since shed it’s wild party image of the late 90’s and in reality offers the best of both worlds. On one hand, the resort's a buzzing cosmopolitan beach resort with many trendy bars, an array of restaurants with international and traditional cuisine and boasts cutting-edge world famous clubs. On the other hand, there's a more tranquil side to this once tiny fishing village. Beautiful snow-white beaches, narrow cobbled streets and serene shady squares with traditional tavernas all show off a different side to Ayia Napa. Visit the medieval monastery and stroll around its gorgeous gardens. Chill out on the white sands of the famous Nissi Beach where the crystal blue water shimmers just a few kilometres west of the harbour. Pull up a chair at a pavement cafe in the atmospheric main square and watch the world go by or for the more energetic choose from an array of watersports or try the bungee

The property was adequate for our needs but not what we expected given it’s description.
The description of the property was misleading. We expected beautiful views but in reality we looked out onto other apartments. Admittedly we could see the Goast Town of Farmagusta through the gap in the apartment blocks. Unfortunately we found the sofa bed impossible to sleep on, as the mattress was so thin we felt the springs poking through. Brian managed to source a double mattress from another apartment but my Son had to help him carry it and again help him carry it back at the end of our holiday. The mattress in the double bedroom was soiled as were some of the pillows. The sheets kept pinging off the mattress as they were a poor fit. The entrance road to the apartment complex is an unmade up track with overflowing rubbish bins. Not a good greeting on arrival after midnight. No WiFi which was inconvenient in this day and age. Also we were woken during the week with building work going on in the opposite block. Not very restful. Fortunately we were out and about every day. It would have been nice to have been forewarned. These are the negatives which could easily be resolved but we do feel the description of the apartment is not accurate as it stands. Having said all this, we had a great holiday and the apartment is a great base to go out and about from. Brian was very helpful and available when needed. Plenty of information in the little library under the TV - Overall good value for money.

Perfect family accommodation
We had a fabulous holiday in Cyprus and our accommodation was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well presented with almost everything needed for a family holiday. Lovely sea views from all rooms, and a perfect balcony for relaxing after a busy day at the beach. Easy to find from the airport, and a great base for exploring the locality. Supermarkets, beaches, restaurants and bars all within very easy access. The water cooler is a genius idea. The ceiling fans vital and the air con a quick and very welcome relief! The pools were lovely and we happily spent a lazy day lounging around them. Need to keep a close eye on your non swimmers though, as no real shallow end. Only two very slight, very minor irritations. Firstly, I find it interesting that a property being touted as ‘luxury’ doesn’t have items such as a dishwasher. I knew it didn’t have one from the description and it wasn’t an issue for us. As I’ve said the property was absolutely perfect. I guess it’s just a matter of semantics. A description like ‘perfect family accommodation’ would be more accurate than luxury penthouse. Secondly - the bedding for the double bed didn’t fit well and every morning, you’d wake up stuck to the mattress. Which in 30 degree plus heat is not great. We remade the bed every single day, and regularly though the night! The sheets would rumple up and ping off the side of the bed the minute you sat on it. Lol. Like I say, not a biggie at all, just a mild irritation. Better bedding would be good though! The contact we had from Kirsty through the booking process was great and the information provided really handy. I loved the little library of books and was happy to add to it at the end of our stay. Brian was great to have nearby, he gave us lots of useful info at the start of our stay and a great money off voucher for nearby Waterworld. But he was unobtrusive and kept a very low profile unless needed. Which, to be fair, he wasn’t! Overall - a wonderful holiday, made perfect with great accommodation. We would definitely go back!! P.S. don’t use Dollar/Thrifty car hire from the airport - substandard cars, awful child seats and absolute rip off merchants. The only downer on our holiday!

Well equipped apartment but not the best location for us
On arrival we were met by a lovely lady. First impressions were promising, however, when we started to unpack we noticed how dirty the apartment was and proceeded to clean it. The drawers had to be cleaned out, the bedding was dirty , the floors filthy and the bath with black marks around it. This was certainly not how we anticipated commencing our long awaited holiday. I emailed Kirsty, who responded promptly and was incredibly apologetic and compensated us. Brian the apartment service guy checked in with us as he had been on holiday. We told him that the apartment was ideal for a family of four as we had two rooms with a pretty well equipped kitchen... the washing machine being a Godsend! The aircon in each room was a welcome relief too along with the additional ceiling fans. The beaches are a lot further than we had anticipated and around a twenty minute walk which isn’t ideal with a pushchair as using the shortcut has a set of really steep steps. The walk down to Kennedy Avenue is like walking through a rubbish dump with litter all over, broken glass as well as pieces of furniture etc littering the pavements. The beach coves are stunning if you can get on them as the Cypriots are on holiday during the last two weeks of August and the beaches are rammed where there was actually no space to lie down a towel. We found turning left at Kennedy Avenue to another cove have a little more space but was quite dirty for children to play on (as with many of the beaches we visited) where they were littered with cigarette ends and plastic cups along with metal bottle tops. Trinity beach is worth a visit. Nissi beach was busy but we managed to get a lounger and shade. Faliros and Just Italian are the best restaurants in Kapparis without a doubt serving consistently good food. Famagusta took over an hour to get to but was well worth the visit! Metro supermarket was around a ten minute walk but again you will have to navigate the litter through the houses to get there. The pool was perfect for the children and they loved it. Quite often they were the only people there! There are adequate loungers and shades too. During our stay it was very clean until the final two days where litter was left on the side and plastic at the bottom of the pool. Don’t expect to relax and have a lie in as every morning, around 5am onwards we were woken by dogs barking until around 9am. The locals call Kapparis ‘Little Britain’ as it is predominantly an expat community

Well presented and clean apartment in ideal location
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. It was ideally located for the bars and restaurants on Kennedy Avenue and the nearby beaches. Brian, the apartment manager was very helpful and always on hand to sort out any issues. I would highly recommend staying here to enjoy your Cyprus holiday.
