We loved this little cottage on the creek! The entire place was spotless and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The drive to Gatlinburg was not bad and we really enjoyed just sitting on the screened in porch watching the creek.
Very clean!! I was impressed by how clean the place was. We had a great time and loved the back porch to sit and listen to the river water.
We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. Perfect for two people. The screened in porch was great to sit outside every morning and enjoy our coffee.Would recommend it if you want to be away from all noise and traffic of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. A little close to the road but we didn't spend much time there except at night. It was a nice little retreat for us.
Property is very nice & well taken care of , however if your looking for privacy this is not the place. It is on a very busy road with lots of traffic. The cottage itself is very nice & neat with everything you could possibly need. Screened in back porch with view of the creek is excellent. The only thing missing was a picnic table . Which would have been perfect for grilling out & having a meal creek side. Two thumbs up for Cathy's cottage it's well worth the price.
Everything you need. Comfortable . Clean. Far enough away from Gatlinburg so you can avoid the crowds, but close enough if you want to get to Smokey Mountain Natl Park. No a single issue. Thanks very much .
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Although we didn't use any of it, the kitchen is fully stocked w/everything needed to cook. Plenty of linens. 20 min to downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smokies. Although it sits on a fairly main road, if you are inside you hear nothing. The cabin is very well insulated. Even sitting on the back porch enjoying the creek view, you barely hear the road traffic because the creek drowns it out. We only had 2 issues. 1 was getting everything into the cabin as there is no landing at the door, you have to stand on the top stair, while holding the door open while lugging things in. 2nd was parking. In emails, prior to booking, we were assured there was adequate motorcycle parking. There is not. All parking is on gravel which is not the best for parking a 1200lb motorcycle. We were able to make adjustments so we weren't forced to park away from the cabin though. Found a great little restaurants nearby. All in all, a great stay
