Pure Bliss!

  • 5 of 5

A stunning cottage in a beautiful, picture perfect location! Luxurious, comfortable and welcoming; truly a home from home. Maintained and equipped to a 5 star standard, the owner has really considered the needs of guests and gone the extra mile to provide for an unforgettable stay. A traditional look has been blended beautifully to provide all mod cons, but all you really need is the permanently changing and magical view from the lounge window.

A lovely stay

  • 5 of 5

Just came back from a few days at Stonebridge. It's a really nice house, very cosy - the fire especially was appreciated in the cold of October. Like a home away from home. The place was as listed, clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend. I especially enjoyed the caledonian salsa cds ;)

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

Had the most wonderful Easter Break in this spectacular location. Such a comfortable cottage providing a large group with a home from home atmosphere, warm, cosy, excellent clean and well maintained facilities with amazing views whatever the weather. Great location, lots of walks nearby, history and wildlife. Dolphins from the deck and sea otters on a walk at Leitir Fura on the Sound of Sleat, Fab!!! Great pub at Hotel Eilean Iarmain for a cozy pint or two. Whatever the weather, season or company I dont think you would struggle to have a magical time here. Will be back!!!!!

Luxurious facilities with a fabulous outlook

  • 5 of 5

The property was of a very high standard, spotless, well maintained with high quality fittings and furniture. It provided superb and comfortable accommodation for myself and 5 friends. Excellent peaceful location, perfect for accessing local walks and site seeing which we did on a daily basis during which we were fortunate to see; wild deer, dolphins, otters, eagles and much more. 3 wonderful nights spent watching the sunset over Knox Bay and what a bonus to see Dolphins swimming in the bay from the porch of Stone Bridge Cottage on our final evening. Truly magical weekend and the first visit to Skye for all of us, but we will certainly be returning soon.

Wonderful stay at Stonebridge

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a relaxing weeks holiday at Stonebridge. The property has everything you need to make a perfect stay, and the standard of furnishings and equipment is exceptional. There was plenty of space for outdoor clothing and boots and the house is cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding like the rest of the house, high quality and comfortable and the range of kitchen equipment amazing.

The owner has added lots of special touches which added to our holiday experience and enjoyment, we especially liked the tide clock and weather station. The views of the bay and across the water to Knoydart are stunning and makes Stonebridge a very special place to stay. Binoculars were available to watch the buzzard and for seal spotting.

The position is ideal for exploring Skye but there are plenty of local activities and amenities if you don't want to travel far. There is an abundance of information to help you explore and make the most of your visit. Our top three recommendations are eating at the pub in Isleornsay, the coral beach walk and a trip on the MJ Starburst at Portree to see the sea eagles.

We could not fault the property or the service and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a holiday with those extra special ingredients. We will definitely return.
