Beautiful NEW BEACHFRONT condominium overlooking the bay in the quaint unspoiled town of San Juan Del Sur which is located south of Managua airport and only 30 minutes from the border with Costa Rica. The condominium is 'right on the beach' and walking distance to restaurants, bars and all amenities. There is a private beachfront clubhouse where you have the facility of self catering with kitchen/bar area. There is a beautiful infinity edge swimming pool and direct access to a lovely stretch of sandy beach.

THIS CONDO CONSISTS OF:: The condominium is fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. The top of the line kitchen includes a full cooker/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stainless steel hood. There is a laundry room in the unit with separate washer and dryer. Two bedrooms , one with a King Size bed and the other with a queen bed and a twin bed. What makes this condo unique

The views are amazing .. be sure to spend time on the roof top terrace. The location is a very comfortable walk to town - either on the beach or over the suspension bridge. This is one of the things I like best about this place. It's quiet and secluded yet very close to all the action and restaurants in town.

Everything about this development is top notch. the workmanship and quality set this development apart from all the rest.

Amazing condo in the perfect location!

Our family of 5 (kids ages 4,7 and 9) stayed for one week in Dave's condo. It is truly a beautiful place with a stunning view. I don't know where to begin. I guess first, we felt very safe. When you entered the complex you went through a guarded gate and there were security guards throughout the property. They were very friendly. The infinity pool was huge and we swam in it often. We walked to town on the beach every day to get fresh fruit and veggies or to go to dinner or for ice cream. I walked alone in the mornings also and felt completely comfortable. At night we took a cab home. The town is a mix of surfers, families, locals and tourists. Having some Spanish definitely helps. It was nice that the condo was on the north end of town a bit away from the nightlife but a close walk. We even walked up to the Jesus statue overlooking the bay. We had to rotate carrying our kids though. You could also take a cab but we are glad we walked. We also walked to the fish market by the port and bought shrimp, sea bass and grouper that they just had caught. We cooked a lot in the condo and the kitchen had everything we needed. We made fresh fruit smoothies every morning in the blender and ate on the balcony overlooking the bay. The condo is so beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels, including beach towels. The furniture was very nice and the bedrooms, great room and bathrooms were large. We used Oscar to take us to Playa Hermosa (perfect beach for families with a restaurant onsite and plenty of hammocks and a little playground), Playa Maderas and a couple different resort pools in the area and to the airport. He is very trustworthy and speaks pretty good English. Our whole family loved Nicaragua. The people are very warm and kind, especially to children. We loved learning about and experiencing the culture and history, fresh food and the ocean. Dave is very helpful and open to answering all of our questions. This was our first time in Nicaragua and we would love to return and stay in this condo again!

Excellent

This was first time to Nica. This place is great, clean, quiet, close to town. Owner provided all info required and then some. Used the driver he recommended and it turned out great as he recommended a few gems as well.

Perfect

We had a wonderful stay at La Talanguera. The place is beautiful, all very new/ modern/ clean. We loved the pool and the beach. Oscar was our driver and was very kind and very available for us. This made all of our outings very easy! We were disappointed that the foot bridge across the San Juan River was gone, but managed to walk across many times at low tide and one very adventurous time at higher tide. We would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to be close to, but not in town.

Condo With An Amazing View

We stayed at Dave’s condo from January 10 to February 9. Upon arrival we were met by Kerstin who familiarized us with the place. As we walked through the door we were greeted by a jaw dropping panoramic view of the beach and the center of town. At this point I felt like I didn’t care how the rest of the place looked liked. I was happy. As we saw the rest of the condo we were not disappointed. The living room, balcony, bathrooms and bedrooms were all very spacious with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was furnished to satisfy a guest who is into cooking. The location of the complex right on the beach made it a pleasure to go on morning runs and walk to town for happy hour and a view of the magnificent sunset. On our first week we went to town (a fifteen minute walk along the beach) to buy kitchen necessities. Later we discovered a pulperia on Chocolata Rd. While we still went to the market for fruits and vegetables, we used the latter to purchase heavier and bulkier items such as wine, water and sodas. Our thirty days went very fast. It was such a pleasure being that close to the beach, hearing the waves and enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the scenery. And I would also add that the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even better.

2nd Stay at this Unit, Always Great

We stayed here last year (and have had friends stay here in April 2016). As always, Dave is great to work with, security always knows what to do with us, the condo is in great shape and has a killer view. I have spent hours on the terrace staring at the bay, reading books, sipping cocktails. You can't beat it.

This is a short review--you can read my 2015 one. What more can I say, great time as usual.

We went to El Timon and Bambu for the first time--both were very good, with Bambu being our favorite for its quiet ambiance and great food. Go to the fish market at the entry to the port and get some fresh snapper (or ceviche if you're into that kind of thing, yuck). Our favorite beaches for surf or just play were Remanso and Hermosa. The food shack at Hermosa has wifi! Ask for Santo if you want surf lessons there, he's a sweet guy and took care of our 7 and 9 year olds.

San Juan del Sur is a quaint seaside town with a horseshoe bay located South of Managua airport and only a 30 minute drive to the border with Costa Rica. The inhabitants, only a mere 16,000, are very friendly and hospitable. The sea front promenade has an array of Restaurants and bars where one can sample local fish and cuisine. There are many Surf stores in town and they will organize for you a trip to one of the nearby surf beaches and include surfing instruction if you so wish. At only an hour or so away you can also visit the colonial town of Granada with its ancient churches, beautiful lake, Volcano and marketplace where you will find an abundance of artifacts, pictures etc all made by local craftsmen.
