My wife is a meticulous housekeeper which you will notice the minute you step foot inside this space. Additionally, we live across the alley so if you should encounter a minor problem, we can usually take care of it in just a few minutes.

We own the bridal shop next door, where you will pick up your key if you arrive before 5:30. I am a video producer by trade, and currently travel throughout the country producing jewelry commercials.

Wonderful old home, lots of character, in the heart of downtown.

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a great time, visiting NMU and the Marquette area. Apartment is in the heart of third street. Great restaurants, shops, brewery, and bars near by, easy walking distance to downtown. Plenty of room for our family, wifi and the kitchen had everything we needed to have a great stay.

Owner's Response: Thanks Dayna. It is a great getaway for NMU parents visiting their children. Hope you had time to prepare your daughter some home cooking. Come again soon.

Beautiful place!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying at the Marquette Midtown Manor! The apartment was absolulety beautiful and couldn't have been in a more perfect location for us. We were in town for the Marquette marathon/half marathon which finished a block from the apartment! Lots of great restaurants to choose from too. We will definitely be back!

Our second stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time returning to this home. We loved both trips and plan to return here again possibly as early as next month! It is close to restaurants, downtown, the lake, and the university. It is clean, updated and very comfortable. The owners are kind and very responsive to any need that may come up. Highly recommend this place as your go to Marquette home away from home!

Great comfy central location

  • 5 of 5

Perfect for our family of 4 - kids got their own rooms! Great location within walking distance to Front Street restaurants. Well stocked, clean, comfortable (albeit we were there during a heatwave - the portable AC unit struggled to keep the large area cool but the ceiling fans in the bedrooms helped) with modern upgrades. Even with its proximity to downtown it was quiet (the trash truck was a little noisy one early morning). We kept busy with activities in Marquette and Munising and were only in the apartment overnight, in the mornings and again in the evenings but it worked out very well for our active family. Wifi came in very handy. Steps up to the apartment (especially the rear entry staircase) could be a challenge to those who find staircases difficult and especially for those with a disability. Coin laundry in basement came in very handy. Great place to stay in Marquette - our family was very satisfied.

Owner's Response: Glad you liked the accommodations. A point of interest, the house was constructed in 1897 and the rear staircase was actually only used by servants of that era.

Perfect location, beautiful house

  • 5 of 5

This home was just perfect for our three families to stay at for a wedding in town. Walkable distance to downtown area, Lake Superior, and the wedding at Northern Michigan University. Short drive to Presque Isle. Close to lots of great food options. Split among us, cheaper than a hotel. Comfortable, beautiful home with everything we needed, and responsive hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property during the week of July 4. Within walking distance of almost everything you want to do, and the property itself was perfect for our needs!
