This top-rated rental property is the number one place to stay if you want to be close to everything. This charming Victorian home was built in 1897. Located in the center of the Third Street Shopping District, your guests can spend their free time visiting the many unique stores that line the street. Popular local restaurants and pubs are just a few short blocks away. Downtown Marquette is just 6 blocks south.
Completely renovated, the home offers a big living room, formal dining room and a full kitchen. The decorating is up-to-date and very pleasing. A front porch, an enclosed sun porch and outdoor patio are additional amenities that your guests will enjoy. This beautiful space has ample room to sleep six making it perfect for families looking for affordable accommodations during their visit to Marquette.
My wife is a meticulous housekeeper which you will notice the minute you step foot inside this space. Additionally, we live across the alley so if you should encounter a minor problem, we can usually take care of it in just a few minutes.
We own the bridal shop next door, where you will pick up your key if you arrive before 5:30. I am a video producer by trade, and currently travel throughout the country producing jewelry commercials.
Scot Fure purchased this apartment in 2003
There is something about this space that you will fall in love with. Perhaps it is the colors, or the way the sun sifts through the maple trees and into the living space, this is a charming vacation environment with all the amenities you need. Clothes and toiletries are the only thing that you need to bring.
We had a great time staying at the Marquette Midtown Manor! The apartment was absolulety beautiful and couldn't have been in a more perfect location for us. We were in town for the Marquette marathon/half marathon which finished a block from the apartment! Lots of great restaurants to choose from too. We will definitely be back!
This was our second time returning to this home. We loved both trips and plan to return here again possibly as early as next month! It is close to restaurants, downtown, the lake, and the university. It is clean, updated and very comfortable. The owners are kind and very responsive to any need that may come up. Highly recommend this place as your go to Marquette home away from home!
Perfect for our family of 4 - kids got their own rooms! Great location within walking distance to Front Street restaurants. Well stocked, clean, comfortable (albeit we were there during a heatwave - the portable AC unit struggled to keep the large area cool but the ceiling fans in the bedrooms helped) with modern upgrades. Even with its proximity to downtown it was quiet (the trash truck was a little noisy one early morning). We kept busy with activities in Marquette and Munising and were only in the apartment overnight, in the mornings and again in the evenings but it worked out very well for our active family. Wifi came in very handy. Steps up to the apartment (especially the rear entry staircase) could be a challenge to those who find staircases difficult and especially for those with a disability. Coin laundry in basement came in very handy. Great place to stay in Marquette - our family was very satisfied.
This home was just perfect for our three families to stay at for a wedding in town. Walkable distance to downtown area, Lake Superior, and the wedding at Northern Michigan University. Short drive to Presque Isle. Close to lots of great food options. Split among us, cheaper than a hotel. Comfortable, beautiful home with everything we needed, and responsive hosts.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property during the week of July 4. Within walking distance of almost everything you want to do, and the property itself was perfect for our needs!
My wife, two daughters, my mother, and I spent 5 nights here and absolutely loved it. The rental is open, airy, and spacious - as well as updated and tastefully decorated. It is centrally located in Marquette's lively Village Neighborhood and is within comfortable walking distance to shops, restaurants, a grocery store, Black Rocks brewery, and my 5-year-old's favorite the ice cream spot. Even downtown and lower harbor are close enough to walk or bike to. Scott is a great guy and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay fun and comfortable. This rental is a great "home base" for all sorts of activities like hiking, biking, water sports, exploring town, or just sitting on the front porch and people watching. We travel to Marquette every summer, and will definitely consider staying here again.
This is one of the few rentals that you can park your car for your entire stay and never use it. We are in the center of town. Within a 6 block radius there are 13 restaurants, pubs, parks, antique shops and so much more. View the maps under the photo section to see for yourself.
