About Brian King
The owner built this house beginning in 2007 with the idea of using it exclusively for he and his family. Once the house was completed he decided to place the home on the market for rental in between traveling.
Brian King purchased this Estate in 2013
Why Brian King chose Tamarindo
He searched all over Playa Tamarindo until he found the perfect lot on which to build! This particular property has a very exclusive location and view corridor...with sunsets year round, excellent breezes and the perfect location just a few minutes drive or walk to the beach, in a gated community.
What makes this Estate unique
View, privacy and luxury. This home has it all plus the most desirable location in North Tamarindo.

Beautiful property with amazing ocean views!
The property is grand and lovely. The ocean and sunset views can't be beat, with multi-levels pools to capture different aspects of the amazing view. We stayed with a group of 6 families (25 total) - and while there was enough livable space, it would be better suited for 5 families, as there are 5 true masters. The actual master is huge and dreamy. There is a great kids area with lower kitchen too which was fabulous, but not ideal for a couple to sleep in that area. It was great to have a separate area to feed the kids though! The pools were lovely, and we enjoyed many late nights on the poolside veranda. The breakfast was plentiful every morning. We only had a few minor complaints with the service - there were not enough towels provided for a group of our size, and we had to request shampoo/conditioner/soap for the showers, which is something we assumed would be provided. The driveway is a bit dangerous as it is SO steep (we had a few injuries), but the house is in a perfect location on the edge of town for easy access to dining, shopping and beach. We had multiple golf carts which were fabulous for buzzing into town. We brought in a yoga instructor a few days, had a chef prepare amazing dinners, and even brought in a singer for a sunset concert! We also really enjoyed the beach club in town. Overall a great and memorable experience!!!
Hi Lindsey…thanks for the review !! Our apologies for slipping-up on the shampoo + conditioner in the showers!!! That is most certainly a standard service we provide, not sure what happened there but it definitely won’t again. In fact we have a wonderful new provider of high end, organic and locally sourced products that guests are thrilled with.
In terms of the home being better suited to a smaller group, the capacity of the home was communicated clearly to your group prior to booking . We had very specific conversations regarding the fact that the home normally services a maximum of 22 persons (as specifically listed on our VRBO page) but since you were a friend of a friend (Heather via Amy) we agreed to accommodate you with the understanding that things might be a little tight. We were assured that this was not a problem for you. On top of that, we also provided a "friends" discount and didn’t charge you for the additional people for the extra breakfast!?
In regards to the steepness of the hill…indeed much of Costa Rica and most every ocean view home of this caliber has similar issues and guests definitely need to be careful on the hills .
We hope to host you and a slightly smaller
group back again soon !!
I have never stayed in as nice a house. The website pictures do not do it justice.
The views out one of the infinity pools almost force a form of meditation that once in is very difficult to leave.
The town was great (food, shopping, beach, activities) and the local people were incredibly friendly (an older gentleman that I had never met before walked up to me while I was surf casting one morning and pulled out of his live well a large fresh bait fish, hooked it on my line, patted me on the shoulder as he pointed to a few rocks a little further out in he surf and disappeared as quietly as he appeared - as I write this I'm wondering if he was even real :) ).
Casa Bali - Heaven!
I would have to say, this is the most beautiful home that we have ever stayed in for a vacation! I miss it already!
Trip of a lifetime
Stayed for a long weekend for a surf/fish bachelor party with 12 friends. The house and staff were truly unbelievable. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the house was mesmerizing. Pictures and videos do not do it justice. Highlight of the trip for me was all 12 of us sitting down at the dining room table for dinner overlooking Tamarindo Bay each evening. Thanks to everyone at Casa Bali for making it the trip of a lifetime.
Unmatched beauty and luxury. Everything advertised and more.
A group of 18 of us (25-32 yrs old) booked Casa Bali as a group of mostly couples. This estate is unbelievable. As you pull up it feels like you are checking into your own hotel. I have rented many a time houses unseen and this is one of the rare cases the pictures don't do it justice. The amount of open spaces, patios, lounging areas, etc. is astonishing. The staff ensures a clean house every day, delicious breakfast every morning, and security and comfort at night. Daniella, if you read this, you were AMAZING! Daniella the concierge was there for us before the trip, and during, at a drop of the hat. Massages, zip lining, fishing, private chef (Chef Diego x2), LIVE BAND at the house, catamaran sunset sails, taxi services, golfing, I could go on and on, truly makes the trip that much easier. The golf carts are a must, and if I were to change anything I would've booked another one, or one of the six seaters. Town is a 10 min walk on the road or a very short golf cart ride. We didn't find a need for car rental as we just hired the shuttle services. All of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, however five of them definitely stand out. The two guest houses at the lower pool, the two bedrooms upstairs opposite the master, and of course the master suite. The master suite has the best shower view I've ever had. Long review, but the trip was that good, one last thing is the sunsets w/ a cocktail in hand are some of the best I've ever seen. Thank you!!
Thank you Will !! Hope to see you again one day soon !! Best regards Brian
