Tyra Chalet 128 is a ski-in/ski-out 3 bedroom, 2.25 bath 1350 sf condominium located on the 1st floor of the 3-story Tyra II 'Chalet' building. Only 3 easy blocks from downtown Breckenridge, this unit has views of Mt. Baldy. This condo is appointed for your comfort and relaxing stay with very nice amenities so you are never far from home.

This 1st floor corner unit is just a few steps across the street from the Snowflake chairlift with easy access to Peaks 8 and 9. Ski right up to the front porch of this condo for lunch or a brief warm up midday. The Tyra Chalet condominium complex is located on 4 O'Clock Road, just 3 blocks west of downtown. The condo is fully stocked with necessary cooking, dining utensils and linens.

WINTER HIGHLIGHTS:

Walk across the street to get your ski day started at the Snowflake Chairlift. You can make your way to the highest chairlift in North America, the Imperial Chair, and ski down 3 1/2 miles back to this condo for lunch, or at the end of the day to soak those tired legs in the hot tubs in the complex.

SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS:

Walk across the street to two trails that go alongside Sawmill Creek. From there it is a 3/4 mile hike to 4 O'Clock Reservoir. For the more adventurous, you can hike to the top of 12,998 foot Peak 8 up 4 O'Clock Trail, right behind the building. Mountain bike up the Four O'Clock Trail in the summer or ride a 'comfort' bike on the 9 mile paved path alongside the Blue River (get a 20% LaZal Resort (Summit) Vacations guest discount on bike rentals). Walk 3 blocks to downtown Breckenridge's many restaurants and shops. Enjoy the 4th of July parade, river rafting on the mellow Blue River, the Breckenridge Pro Rodeo (7/22-8/31/13), the National Repertory Orchestra concerts (late June to mid August). You can also enjoy Breckenridge's Fun Park on Peak 8, featuring an alpine slide, two person roller coaster, miniature golf, climbing wall, fun maze and pony rides for kids. Horse and pony rides up the mountain are also available at the Breckenridge Stables on Peak 9.

Great location! (Lift and run), Internet access could be better.

The location was great. Easy lift access and right by 4 O'clock run. Plenty of blankets and humidifiers. Hot tub was great in an enclosed space just two flights up Lots of beds.

Internet access didn't work well in the evening. Couldn't watch Netflix (streaming not possible) - we just gave up. Lastly, the neighbors upstairs kept us up - they had all lights on, kids playing, vacuum cleaner running and things being dragged on the floor at midnight till 2 in the morning.

Great condo

We have skied in breck for 12 years and this condo probably had the best combination of location and space!

Right across the street from snowflake lift and can ski to the condo for lunch

3 bedrooms and a lot of space to spread out

Broken coffee maker and a problem with heat were addressed fairly promptly by management

Will definitely return !

A great condo!

This is condo is the nicest condo I've ever stayed in my entire life. My family has been here many times. Some great things about this condo is it has 3 great bedrooms, a 60 inch tv, a fun complex that you can play fun games in like tag or mafia, it's right next to peak 8 where you can fish, hike, and bike, and it's right next to downtown where you can eat and shop. I guarantee whoever's reading this that you will have a great time in this condo and the specific location in Breckenridge.
