This is a great place for a BUSINESS TRAVELER to stay or if you are going to the Colorado Springs area for a visit you want to check this out! What I loved best about your place was it really had the feel of a "get a way" while having all the amenities within 5 minutes. The private entrance, porch and speculator view of Colorado Springs were a big bonus. Already planning my next trip.

Quiet and well located for our purpose.

Ann and Sterling are very responsive and great hosts. The location for us visiting family was great. This was the first VRBO that we have used that was in someone’s house which was a little different for us. The unit was well stocked for simple cooking.

The furnishings were adequate. I did feel that the security deposit was excessive. We have stayed in a number of VRBO‘s both in the US and Europe and have never had a security deposit over $500. Being 60+ somethings and non-party people, we usually save ourselves the money for insurance breakage.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. I have resolved the issue with the high security deposit. Until recently, we only had the option to offer the Damage Protection Plan ($59) or the $1500 refundable deposit. Now VRBO gives us the option to offer a $500 refundable deposit option. VRBO holds these funds in escrow until after the guest checks out which eliminates the 3% fee ($45) we used to be charge to receive the Security Deposit Funds. We always appreciate hearing from our guests on ways to improve their experience.

All we hoped for and more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are well furnished, supplied and spacious and the patio was wonderful. We spent a lot of time here out on the patio. Saw lots of deer one morning just a few yards away. There are a couple minor limitations with this place to consider, the kitchen is spartan and the bathroom is tiny, the shower stall is quite tight. These were not a problem for us. We cooked almost all our meals during our stay, sticking to quick one skillet meals is our usual habit even at home and that worked fine here. We hope to return next year.

Oh, and the hosts were gracious and attentive.

Absolutely perfect!

Look no further! This place is amazing. So much natural light that it doesn’t feel like a basement. Private, spacious, and clean. Lots of extra touches that make it feel like home. Owners very easy to work with and respond quickly to any situation. Location is central to any Colorado Springs activities. Views from private patio are stunning. We actually had deer visit us during breakfast. We will definitely come back if we return to the Springs!

Comfortable and nicely located hoome away from home

My brother and I enjoyed our stay and Sterling and Ann's place. They were very good at communicating before and during our stay. This place is very comfortable, with plenty of nice "home" kind of items and extras. Very private and a great location close to all of the Colorado Springs area attractions. I usually never book a place without AC, however despite the heat in the area during our stay, even without AC, they had fans going when we got there and it was comfortably cool. I would not hesitate to stay again even in the summer. Morning coffee on the patio included two seperate dear sightings right in the yard below us. If I am ever in the area again I would not hesitate to contact them again.
