Guests who stayed at Frances' place just loved it!
My wife and I stayed at this lovely Bed & Bike home in Jordaan. The location was ideal and in close proximity to all the major attractions while staying in the historic district with the locals. We enjoyed being near the markets on Saturday morning and the neat, little shoppes in this neighborhood. The room we were provided met all of our needs during our stay, and Frances was the sweetest host. We will definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.
Stayed here in May 2016. It was a great location. Frances was a nice host and had so many tips on where to go in the area. The market around the corner on Saturdays was really nice as well as the Cafe Thijssen had great cappuccinos and the best apple pie! The accommodations were very clean and it was a nice place to stay.
The room was clean and lovely, Frances was a great host, would definitely recommend staying here! Anne Frank house is a short walk and the market is just around the corner on a Saturday. Really beautiful house and area.
Staying in the Jordaan was perfect for us. Frances, the owner, is a great host who lives life to the full. Always smiling and interested in what you have to say, Frances will offer tips to get the most from your stay in this area of the city. Her restaurant / bar recommendations were "spot on" and we really enjoyed the use of the bikes. I can say now that we are already looking for return flights. See you soon Frances!
The room was great for the price. It was rather small, but that's okay because you should be spending the days exploring. Everything was very clean upon arrival. One thing to make note of though, is that although it is no smoking, you can still smell the smoke from the owners apartment. Although it is not unbearable, if you are sensitive to it, I would take it into consideration. Although I am somewhat sensitive to it, it did air out some during our stay and we were not in the room enough for it to affect my enjoyment of this property. I would stay here again and recommend to friends. The area is unbeatable and the bikes are GREAT!!!!!! We rode them everywhere and everyday.
Great and lovely
We guest 5 days, love Francesca , love the appartemnt ,love the the area.
