Limited parking space available outside the Acqua buildings on a first come first served basis. Paid parking in Acqua Livingstone and Detifoss Tower is 50 pesos for the first 3 hours and 10 pesos for every succeeding hour.
Because of Acqua's ongoing construction, the easiest, fastest and most ideal mode of transportation is via Uber/Grab ride.
We are all excited to host your upcoming trip. We try to meet each and every guest for check-in. However, guests coming at late hours will need to do a self check-in.
For any other concerns during your stay, send an SMS or call Gab for immediate concerns, the number will be available once booking is confirmed.
Other Things To Note:
If youre feeling a little tired to grab a meal outside, you can use the free landline phone inside the unit for a fast food delivery.
If youd rather eat outside, download the Uber or Grab app. The nearest foodcourt is in Rockwell Powerplant Mall. It is around 50-80 pesos (5-8 minutes) ride via Uber/Grab.
There are few very cheap streetfoods/home-cooked meals available in the area. You'll have to walk down the street (around 5-10 mins walk) outside the Acqua Private Residences gate.
You can also use our kitchen if you want to make your own meals instead.
The tap water inside the unit is not potable yet. We provide limited (complimetary) bottled drinking water as a part of the welcome gift. If you run out of drinking water, there are nearby small stores outside the Acqua gate, too.
Our home is located in Acqua Private Residences - Livingstone Tower.
What makes our location unique is its proximity to a "ferry ride." People are so used to utilizing cars or taxis, we sometimes forget that the traffic in the Metro can be crazy.
If you want to avoid the traffic in the street (and are okay for some commuting adventure) try to ride the ferry boat to get to a nearby stop which can bring you to the nearest MRT station.
Once you have access to the MRT, you can go to other parts of the Metro.
Acqua is very near Makati and BGC, too. With the ongoing construction of other Acqua buildings, its location may seem hidden. But its "hidden" location gives it some "out-of-the-busy-city feel" while still actually being in the city.
Walking down the street, you'll see the Pasig river on your left side and a density of urban community.
While Uber/Grab seem to be the safest and best transportation available, you can also make use of public transportation. The nearest is by a Ferry boat.
Go outside the Acqua Residences gate and look for the "Hulo Ferry Station," Coronado Street, near Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned. It is around 5 minutes walk.
From the Hulo Ferry station, you can go to several CBD locations. The most "touristy" stop is the "Plaza Mexico" where you can visit Intramuros.
Intramuros is a historic and the oldest district center of Manila, the capital of the Philippines. It is also called the Walled City. This bastioned Intramuros was the seat of the government during the Spanish Colonial Period.
The Manila Cathedral, a Neo-Romanesque-Byzantine cathedral is within Intramuros, too.
The Ferry Service is open from Monday to Saturday, from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Commuters need to download the "SakatDotPh" App. You'll see guides on commuting via all public transportation (jeepney, bus, ferry, UV express, etc.). When in doubt, always take the safest option - a Grab or Uber ride. :)
As an extra precaution, do not use your mobile phones and always be mindful of your belongings when in public places.
