Two bedroomed apartment with off street parking and use of beautiful gardens

The apartment is situated in a small, secure, apartment building, set back slightly from the road and accessed via a walkway and through an outer security door with entryphone.

The apartment has an entrance hall, off which are 2 bedrooms (one double & one twin) and a bathroom with bath and shower over.

A short flight of stairs leads to a very comfortable sitting room with dining area. This room enjoys unobstructed views of the well kept communal gardens. Off the sitting room is a fully equipped galley kitchen with electric stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine etc.

Other amenitiies include:

The apartment is very comfortable and extremely well provided with extras like basic cooking items,local maps and umbrellas! The 2 bedrooms downstairs are small but with good quality beds and linen. The living room upstairs has comfy sofa and chairs, good wifi connection and dining table overlooking the shared garden. The flat is an easy 10 minute walk to the East Putney tube station and also Putney overground train. The tube is on the District line and very convenient to Kensington museums as well as Hampton Court, Wimbledon and Kew Gardens. There are nice walks along the Thames path to Hammersmith. Putney has lots of places to eat- Carluccios at Putney Wharf and Vera Italia near Carlton drive were both good. Booking the flat was easy and efficient and both the owner and local contact were very helpful. A very nice base for our week in London!

Great place to stay for a family of four. Good location and well-appointed.

We were looking for a home away from home when we recently visited my in laws in Putney. This was perfect - it is an easy walk to both underground and overground stations. The bus will take you to Putney Heath and Wimbledon. Lots of good restaurants nearby and the shops are a short walk. The children appreciated having access to the garden. The flat really has everything you would need and is better stocked than some VRBO places we have stayed. The building is very quiet and the neighbourhood feels safe. We enjoyed it so much, my partner will be returning in November when he comes to visit his parents.

Lovely comfortable apartment in great location

The apartment exceded expectations. It was in excellent location with easy transport into the centre of London.The apartment was clean ,very comfortable and quiet at night for sleeping. Nice walks along the river bank within a few minutes walk and lots of places for dining out locally.

Convenient and well equipped flat

Putney is a great location in London. Transport available by overground rail, underground rail, bus and river ferry to all parts of London. Good shopping in Wimbledon and Kingston, both a short bus ride away. It's nice to have an independent department store, Ely's in Wimbledon. There are plenty of grocery shops nearby - Little Waitrose on Upper Richmond Road is very handy. There are also some nice walks along the Thames and in Putney Common or Wimbledon Common.

The flat is secure and in a quiet location with beautiful well kept gardens to overlook and sit in. It is only a short walk to the overground and underground rail and the High Street. The bedrooms and bathroom are small but functional and there is a good power shower in the bathroom.

A very enjoyable stay.

Great location for Wimbledon & London exploring, with excellent transport links.

We booked for 5 nights in July. Location was ideal with the bonus of a small parking spot. The flat's living quarters were spacious, complete with wildlife viewing in the huge community back garden. The kitchen was well equipped, except we would have opted for a dishwasher rather than a clothes washer. The only thing that let the rental down, was the lack of cleanliness. The whole apartment was in need of a deep clean, especially with the lack of ventilation on the ground floor (bathroom & bedrooms).

The booking process with the owner was very good and efficient, and the reception contact worked well.

Putney is a very old part of London, approximately 5 miles south west from the heart of London's West End, Theatre district and Soho, on the south bank of the River Thames. It is a largely residential area with a bustling High Street, supermarkets, cinema, live music venues and many traditional pubs.

The apartment is a 10 minute walk to unspoiled Putney Heath and Wimbledon Common for walks, picnics and all outdoor activities. It is ideally situated for public transportation:

- 5 minute walk to East Putney tube station with fast access to Central London.

- 5 minute walk to Putney rail station with direct services to Waterloo and services out of London to Hampton Court Palace, Ascot, Windsor etc.

- Numerous bus services nearby.
