UNFORGETTABLE VACATIONS

  • 5 of 5

We've just returned from our family vacation in Villa Bali.

The villa has an unbeatable location in a quiet area and at the same time very close to everything, beaches, Marina Rubicon harbor where you can find many bars, restaurants, shopping and nightlife areas, etc.

At some 5 minutes by car there are a lot of beaches.

There is a large supermarket and a bar very close to the villa.

The villa is just near the seafront and a half an hour walking to the town center, a very pleasant place to stroll along the sea.

The house is very spacious with clear views. It comfortably fits 7 people.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher and enough tableware.

The villa is decorated with love, with good furniture and leather sofas. There are paintings, Buddhist statues both in the garden and inside the house, vases with flowers. It is a very comfortable and clean house, the staff comes two days a week to clean the pool.

We spent almost all the time lying outside in the hammocks sunbathing, reading books lying in a Balinese bed, eating in the porch dining room (it's possible to open the windows) and dining at night in the chillout area.

Before our arrival the owner Victoria helped us a lot with car rentals, shopping and she gave us a list of her favorite restaurants and shops where you can buy perfumes and creams with a 50% discount.

She just forgot to tell us where we had to throw garbage but she has always been very attentive to our needs, responding immediately to our emails.

We appreciate the help of Victoria as it was the first time we visited the island.

Thank you very much, sure we will return. The villa is highly recommended.

A lovely villa in a great location

  • 4 of 5

I took responsibility for sourcing and booking this villa for myself, my husband and three friends, so I felt some trepidation about it living up to expectations - it did.

The villa is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. I have not given it 5 stars because it was not perfect - there were a couple of wobbly door handles, the curtains on the outdoor bed were tatty, only 2 toilet rolls were supplied for 3 toilets and only 4 mugs (but plenty of smaller cups). None of these really bothered us, but I am trying to write an honest review.

The location is great, a nice view to the mountains (there are some unfinished villas to look past), two minutes to a great little supermarket with lovely friendly staff, 15 minutes walk to the Marina Rubicon and the nearest Papagayp beach via the promenade and the cliff path.

We called Manuel before we travelled, as instructed to, and arranged to meet him on arrival to gain access, this worked fine. The neighbours do have dogs but we only heard barking on one afternoon and it did not persist. I did not see any evidence of the open areas around the villa being used as a dog toilet. In fact we all thought how clean and litter free the whole area was. The sun loungers and seating areas around the pool all had cushions. The villa had clearly been dressed for the photo shoot, but looking beyond the flowers and candles the photos do represent the villa, it's furnishings and decor.

The Marina has lots of lovely shops and good restaurants that were inexpensive. Everyone that we met in shops and restaurants was friendly and helpful.

We would book this villa again if we were to return to Lanzarote and would recommend it to others.

GENUINE REVIEW !!!!

  • 1 of 5

Stayed here last summer with my family.

Photos are not true representation of property.

House attached next door have dogs that constantly bark throughout the night and are situated directly underneath second bedroom window.

All woodwork needs repainting.

No cushions to terrace seating either upstairs or downstairs.

Public area immediately outside is used as dog public toilet.

On arrival we were not met or had instructions to gain access and had to stay first night in local hotel.

Avoid this property.

Owner's Response: THEY WANTED A FREE HOLIDAY To begin with I have to say that they started lying from the beginning, telling me that there would be just a couple with a child and actually they were 6 persons. They requested the house from two different emails for the same dates. I realized it because the lady responded me the questions which I had previously asked the man. Moreover, he also told me that this trip was a gift from the company where he was working and they gave him a check. But the amount of the check far exceeded the price for renting my house. So he pretended to send it to me and he wanted me to return him the difference. I asked the bank and was told that a check from abroad had 3 months to be returned and they would already have left. The house was not available the first day they were going to arrive and we decided that they would pay for a room in a hotel. But then they went to one of the most expensive hotels and made me pay for their stay. Finally I accepted it because the man was bothering me during all day telling me that he was not going to pay me the second part. This year they have contacted me once again to rent them my villa and I refused them. Subsequently, they left me this nice comment on the web-site of Represalia. I can understand if you have a complaint in May 2015, you complain the same year, not the following one when somebody refuses you. As for the furniture, are Indonesian antiques made from solid teak and they are as shown in the photos, the cushions have always been there and they are custom-made, there is no sense to hide them. They also talked about some dogs barking day and night. May be they think that dogs do not sleep? I never heard a single dog barking, neither the rest of the neighbors. And as for the outside, I must say that the municipality of Yaiza won the award for the cleanest municipality of Spain. In all these years I had never met people like them.

A little bit of Heaven

  • 4 of 5

We booked the villa because of its location and the pictures that were shown on the villa description.

The villa decor was excellent and well maintained. The owner and the agent we met at the villa provided us with very good customer service. We were so impressed with the villa and the area that we are planning to go back again.

I would recommend the villa to friends and relatives. A 20 minute walk from the villa is the beautiful Marina Rubicon with bars resturants and shops. The market is on Wed and Sat mornings is well worth a visit. A taxi ride into the old town is another must.

There are plenty of other things to do but a hire car would be necessary or there is a very good regular bus service which runs along the top of the road .

UNFORGETTABLE VACATIONS !

  • 5 of 5

he location of the villa is perfect, it's situated in a quiet area.

The Ville as it covers all the main corner which has beautiful clear views even from ground floor, near the beaches of Papagayo and the Marina Rubicon

cannot fault the location, it is in a nice peaceful area, but a short walk to the marina and into town, only about 3,50 in a taxi if you can't be bothered walking.

Taxi rank at 0,06 milles

The furniture of a high quality standard, very comfortable bed mattress

The heated pool wasn't as warm as we would have liked, but as soon as we mentioned it to Manuel the manager he increased it which was great. Yes the place is a little tired around the edges, but it was clean and had everything you need. The kitchen was great, to have an oven and freezer is great for self catering, much better than the usual ice box and 4 ring hob. There is a supermarket with pretty much everything and fabulous fresh counters 5 min walk away. And the steaks we bought were amazing on the bbq.

Overall it was a great holiday, felt like home from home and I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else.

The owner is very attentive and friendly
