Recently converted with the aim of providing somewhere cosy and comfortable, stylish and chic to stay - the kind of place we like to stay in ourselves! By using contemporary greys and whites and adding an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture with hand picked accessories we've created somewhere rather special. The bed is decked with five star bedlinen: Egyptian cotton sheets, goose-down duvet and feather pillows. It's designed to be romantic, fresh and welcoming. Across the courtyard from the barn is our family home - an 18th century farmhouse - no longer a working farm, but full of character nevertheless. We love it here and hope you will too!
Large light and airy barn in tranquil location with free parking and wifi.

We were both born here! Despite travelling with our jobs in earlier years we returned to Bath when we got married and brought up our family here. We started a company together in the 1980's and ran it for many years from the farm which has adapted to our needs over the years. We feel very blessed to live here.
Jilly purchased this Barn in 1991
Why Jilly chose Bath
We fell in love with this place the moment we saw it! For years we drove past it on the way to our sons school. It was rather neglected in those years but still way beyond our reach financially! But our business began to grow and one day we saw the farm was up for sale. Despite some nail-biting moments we managed to secure it and have spent the last 20 years here. It's an ongoing project and we love it!
What makes this Barn unique
We are so close to the vibrant city centre yet can be back in the calm surroundings of the farmhouse in a matter of minutes. The farm still has its old bread oven in the sitting room, a natural spring in the garden, and beautiful mature trees around. It really is very special place.

Our stay at Lyncombe Vale farm
From the minute we arrived we were greeted by Jilly, a super friendly and helpful Lady. The barn was to direct for, location is so convenient. Walk into the shops, pubs and restaurants down the road or keep going into Bath city centre. Everything is short walking distance.
Only sorry we didn't get to bid Jilly farewell, thanks

The City of Bath is a World Heritage site, as famous for its Roman Baths as its stunning Georgian architecture. Add to that its festivals, museums, markets, theatres, shops and restaurants and you have a rather special place. Little Owl Barn is in a tranquil conservation valley just minutes from the lively heart of the city. It is also ideally situated for visiting so many other interesting and historic places in the West Country: Wells, Glastonbury, the Cotswolds, Oxford, London, Castle Combe, Lacock, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Highbridge, and the Cheddar Gorge to name but a few.
