Overview

About the property

US based London Connection 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment

This apartment is on the fourth floor (with lift); the flat is also very modern with glass walls and overlooks the river and beyond. It is light and contemporary throughout. The entire apartment has wood floors and fine furniture. The lounge has sofas, television, comfortable seating, and again wonderful views. The kitchen is very modern with all machines including washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, beautiful views, a second television, and an en suite bathroom with shower stall as well as a bathtub with over-shower, wash hand basin, and loo. The second bedroom has another queen size bed, views, and ample storage. The third bedroom has a single bed with a trundle bed for a second single bed. Bedrooms two and three use the second bathroom with shower over the tub, wash hand basin, and loo. This accommodation is exceptional. When considering the quality of the building itself, the size of the facility (5/6 persons), the location, and the views over London, it is an outstanding selection for a trip to London. This is a first-choice property. Enjoy the photos and the view! Of all the properties ever offered by this company, this is one of the top five listings. Bus 8 stops directly in front of Parliament View and goes over Lambeth Bridge to Parliament Square, on to Trafalgar Square, and then on to Oxford Street. Fantastic! There is a grocery store just along the Albert Embankment, three minutes walk. There is a restaurant and a church next to Lambeth Palace. Taxis are everywhere; Westminster Tube Station is 10 minutes walk. Fantastic.

5 night minimum for most reservations. 3 nights considered within 30 days of arrival.

Discounted monthly prices available.

Great location and view.

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of 4. We stayed here for 1 month. The location was perfect. The apartment was the perfect size. The only draw back were the beds and the living room window needs a blind. Other than that, we would stay here again.

Great view, exceptional location, awesome customer service

  • 5 of 5

This little gem of an apartment is situated very conveniently in the hub of all you want to see in London. It is walking distance to so many tourist must sees while visiting this wonderful city. The city bus is right outside the door and the Hop On, Hop Off bus is a very short walk. Close to a tube entrance also.... It is clean and quiet....not quiet city noise but quiet with the apartment neighbours. Has all the conveniences you will need close by.

We took the opportunity to reserve the car hire they offered to take us from the airport to the apartment and same for the return. That worked out perfectly.

Booking with HomeAway was seamless and they were prompt with their replies.

It was quite memorable sitting in the living room and watching the sunsets over Big Ben after a perfect day in London.

Awesome in London !!

  • 5 of 5

This property was amazing. The location was fantastic. Felt very fortunate to have found it - since we knew very little about London and the different areas. Highly recommend with no hesitation. We are a family of 6 and found that there was plenty of room!! Only suggestion- a blind on the main family room window would have been nice in the evening for a little more privacy. Would be my only complaint. We were picked up from the airport and met by Christina for a quick overview of the apt. Everything was very well coordinated !!! Lisa Miller

Great location BUT

  • 3 of 5

The property was perfectly situated for getting around by foot, bus or tube. It felt safe and secure. Despite the cold weather, we had plenty of heat and hot water.

However, the apartment was only surface clean. Closets and cabinets in the lounge were stuffed with pillows, dirty laundry bags, wire hangers and extra linens.

The second TV noted in the description did not exist. The second bedroom did not have an drawers for folded garments so we used the small day bed for our clothing.

The "folder" with info did not contain a map of the city, a tube map and any other helpful information for getting around.

Finally, the living room decor was strange with shaggy twigs in one urn and empty flower vases stacked in another.

I will send a note to the management with pictures so they can follow up with their staff in London...I would doubt they are aware of the issues.

Tremondous View, Great Location!!

  • 5 of 5

The Parliament View apartment is a fantastic home away from home in London. The view from the master bedroom and living room is wonderful and almost worth the price by itself. You can see Parliament and the Elizabeth Tower which houses Big Ben. My family of 5 was so comfortable in the flat. It was great to return after a day of sightseeing and have the room to spread out and not be in each other laps. The 3 bedrooms had comfortable beds and my 3 kids enjoyed having their own spaces. My teenage son was in the smaller bedroom and my two preteen daughters shared the queen bedroom. The kitchen was perfect for preparing light meals with an oven and microwave. Alex, who let us in and explained the workings of the flat, was professional and very informative. We ate breakfast in the flat, lunch out during sightseeing and got take away for dinner. The flat is in a great location with 5 bus stops within steps of the front door. We were able to travel all over the city very easily. A highly recommended app is Citymapper, which gives the transportation system at your fingertips. The London Eye in a short walk along the Thames and is a must see for all visitors. The Houses of Parliament are just a short walk across the Lambeth Bridge. As is the Westminster Pier, from which we took a boat tour down the Thames to Greenwich. Must sees in London are The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and The Shard, all within an easy bus ride or tube ride from the flat. We got takeaway twice from the Riverside Café right across the street on the Thames. The pizza and fish & chips were a hit with my family. If you want o have a memorable holiday, you cannot do better than this flat!

Location

Car: not necessary

This fabulous flat is famous! Woody Allen's movie Parliament view was filmed here, and in European vacation, the roundabout scene, was filmed just in front of Parliament View. The location is amazing with the beautiful Albert Embankment and the River Thames in front of you. The living room and three bedrooms have views over the Thames to Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and to the London Eye. It is a panorama of immense beauty; all of London is right there. At night, the lighted city and the facade of the Parliament buildings with lighted Big Ben are memorable. The lighted London eye at night, colors changing continually, is an amazing scene. The Archbishop of Canterbury lives in Lambeth Palace next to Parliament View. Cross Lambeth Bridge, with all the fabulous views up and down the river, and wander through the gardens of Parliament to Parliament Square and Westminster Abbey/St. Margaret's Church. Westminster Tube Station is about a 12-minute walk, all historical settings everywhere. The London Eye is ten minutes away. The Hungerford Bridge is just beyond the London Eye with easy access to Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. This amazing accommodation with central air conditioning is a glass building of modern design.
