L'Antoxana (VV140) is a vacation rental housing full of three double rooms with capacity for six people, two bathrooms, large living room with fireplace, TV, DVD, reading, games room, fully equipped kitchen and garden with grill, all in a peaceful environment, very quiet and with splendid views.

Among the equipment is: washing machine, oven, refrigerator, microwave, crockery and kitchenware, bathroom and bedroom sets, hair dryer, toaster, kettle, blender, etc.

Built towards the 18th century, its recent restoration respected the original constructive elements that give it an exceptional authenticity, such as huge masonry walls with hand-worked stone lintels and the centuries-old chestnut beams of the rooms, each of which is oriented to a cardinal point. It is sighted from the mountain range of El Sueve to the channel of the Mampodre on its way to the Sella

Nice accommodation in a beautiful location

We had a great week here. The house is spacious and well equipped. There is a seating area in the garden with fantastic views to the mountains. It is a good location for access to the many walks in the Picos and also places like Gijón and Oviedo. The host Mario is very helpful and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend it.

Fabulous property full of character. Stunning views.

Well equipped and comfortable property that has been modernised whilst retaining loads of character. Quiet location with great views across to the hills. Beds comfortable, living and dining space plentiful and well equipped kitchen. The location is stunning in a hamlet (population 9!) with only the sounds of distant cowbells to disturb you. A great place to relax. The 'welcome pack' from the owner (cider, cheese, biscuits, bread, fruit) was a lovely gesture. A brilliant find and a superb week's holiday.

Amazing location; authentically restored

L'Antoxana is in a tranquil & beautiful location with wonderful views across the valley and mountainside. It has obviously been thoughtfully restored with many authentic features; it is spacious, comfortable and generally very well-equipped, particularly in the bathrooms. Mario was a very welcoming and helpful host and we appreciated the complimentary items of local cheeses, cider etc we were greeted with on arrival. The only request I would make on behalf of future British guests would be a copy of the house information in English!

Relax

Hemos disfrutado de una semana en esta pequeña aldea del concejo de Parres (Carrio). Es una aldea pequeña, con impresionantes vistas. Si lo que buscas es salir del bullicio de la ciudad y estar relajado es el sitio ideal.

Mario es muy atento, y te hace enamorarte de la casa con la descripción de la arquitectura que hace de ella y el relato de su restauración. La casa es muy cómoda, con su chimenea y su barbacoa.

Como punto negativo diría que el acceso a la aldea es para un único vehículo y muy justo, por lo que hemos tenido problemas al cruzarnos con otros vecinos.

Por lo demás, un sitio al que volver.

Sehr schönes Landhaus in den Hügeln

Das Haus ist komfortabel und schön ausgebaut, es ist ruhig, sowohl im Haus wie auch im Garten lässt es sich super entspannen, zudem geniesst man eine schöne Aussicht auf die Schlucht und die umliegenden Hügel. Besitzer Mario, welcher 40 km entfernt am Meer wohnt, ist sympathisch und sorgt dafür, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen.
