About Susan Huffman

I grew up in Florida, moved to NYC, Philadelphia & Santa Fe, NM for 23 years prior to moving back to St. Augustine in 1995. I was a former professional dancer and owned a physical therapy and Pilates wellness center in St. Augustine for 15 years. I recently moved back to Northern New Mexico but still call St. Augustine my home.

Susan Huffman purchased this house in 1995

Why Susan Huffman chose St. Augustine Area

Conveniently located between St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra. My home offers easy access to I 95, outlet malls, golf, water sports and historical sites. Within walking distance of three waterfront restaurants. Two miles from the Vilano Town Center with Publix, a salon, dry cleaning, restaurants, beach wear, a water park and fishing pier. Boat rentals just over the Vilano Bridge.

What makes this house unique

Open floor plan with great ocean views from every room. Walk out your back door down the steps to the beach. This property is in an established neighborhood of single family homes. No dwellings over 35 feet high from Vilano Beach to Ponte Vedra Beach.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Susan & Bill,

We just got back home to the UK as we had a week of skiing in Colorado after the week at your property.

Wanted to say thanks so much for letting us stay again.

For us your property really is a little piece of heaven, we all love staying there so much. We talk about it everyday and will definitely look to book again some time in the future (provided it is still available).

Thanks again.

Beautifully set beach house

  • 5 of 5

The property in immaculate and the setting is stunning. Takes less than 1 minute to get on to the beach via some steps from the property which is perfect for us with 2 young kids. Nearby restaurants are great. Our second visit and we love it - hope to come again.

Our stay in Susan Huffman's property in St Augustine was amazing.

  • 4 of 5

The house was clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The beach is right outside and is clean and beautiful. St. Augustine is a 10 minute drive.

Beautiful home on Villano Beach

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous home on the beach. Totally appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with seasoning, oil, vinegar and the basics for coffee.....so helpful!! My only suggestion would be different mattresses on the beds. i would totally recommend anyone to stay at this fabulous vacation home. And my entire family LOVED the Zen sand pendulum.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your wonderful review! I have Sleep Number mattresses so my guests can adjust the firmness to their liking. Perhaps it wasn't working while you were there. Please let me know if that was the case. I hope you will consider returning again in the future.

Beautiful, serene, enjoyable...

We had a great time at Susan's home, we thank you for sharing it with us. Your house was immaculate and stocked with everything one needs from dishes to towels to books...we had a great time and sighted a school of dolphins almost every day. Again, thank you for sharing your home and we would rent it again.

Respectfully,

Dana & Kameel

Great stay.

  • 5 of 5

Vacation was great, home was perfect. We had 4 small children and this house set up great for them. The kids had a ton of fun digging in the sand and searching for spooky ghost crabs/ starfish, they found several. Very convenient location to St. Augustine and the local Publix. The beach is less than 40 ft away and is very private with plenty of space. Hottub was a great feature, it worked perfect and was hot! Our dogs had a blast as well.
