About Odis and Rhonda Chambers
Odis and I have been married 34 years. We have lived in this area basically all those years. We raised our family in this location and still enjoy most of our family living close by. I (Rhonda) was born here. Odis' family hails from the Cades Cove area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. His family moved to Blount County when Cades Cove was established as part of the National Park. We purchased the property on which your cabin sits in 1990 and built the cabin in 2000. In order to maintain a natural theme we tastefully decorated this cabin with eagles. We have also been owners of our own restaurants for all or most of our married life.
Odis and Rhonda Chambers purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Odis and Rhonda Chambers chose Pittman Center
The outdoors and Great Smoky Mountains National Park and this area have always been a huge part of our lives. We have done some traveling and realized that we would like to provide a romantic, restful get-away for couples, such as we would enjoy when we travel.
What makes this Cabin unique
This home is privately owned, cleaned and maintained by the owners. It is our belief that every guest deserves the same clean, well maintained surroundings that this cabin offers.

Quaint Place on a Hill
The owners really outdo themselves on cleanliness and attention to detail. We couldn’t believe how clean and fresh the cabin was when we arrived. Almost as if it was brand new!
The details of the cabin are very cute and pay homage to a mountain heritage. We were still noticing little touches even after we had been there for a few days.
We gave it 5 stars, but there are few things to be aware of: (1) as in an earlier review, the dryer does not work well. It took multiple cycles to dry 5 things. My husband works in the trades and he checked the vent inside and out-it was clean and unblocked, so we know the owners do maintain the property. We just didn’t want to delve into the reason behind the dryer not working efficiently as it wasn’t ours and we didn’t want to break anything.
Also, we both have knees on the fritz, and the spiral staircase, while beautiful, makes it difficult to go up and down them. So, as a future renter, if you have issues with your joints or vertigo (as these stairs “float”) you may not want to go downstairs to the game room or the laundry.
You also can’t tell from the pics, but there are several other homes/cabins within sight of the cabin. But, the neighbors were not bothersome at all. It was really nice, except that you can hear the road noise-as it is on Highway 321. No biggie though! The jets from the hot tub block that out.
Overall, it’s a wonderful cabin with a great location-close to Gatlinburg and the back way into Pigeon Forge to avoid the traffic. It is up a steep hill, so make sure to have tire chains with you in bad weather. You have a nice view of the mountains through the trees, and squirrels come right up beside the upper porch in the trees.
Nice cabin! Very relaxing!
We really enjoyed our stay! Cabin was very nice and clean. Very relaxing! We would definitely stay again and recommend!
Its all wood. Up on a hill. Not a mountain................... Ok view but nothing special...........
Wouldn't recommend to anyone. To many rules. Met a nice couple who was interested in a cabin. Let them see it while we was cleaning up to leave and the cleaning woman came up trying to say we couldn't have anyone there and said them people had been there when they haven't. I think these people are trying to charge more money. I would recommend doin backgrounds on places before renting
All rental properties have rules. This cabin specifically states that it can accommodate two people only. Extra car was observed by "cleaning woman" who happens to be the owner of the cabin at 7:30 - 7:45 AM. At 10 AM when owner came to clean the cabin the second car was still there. Have no intention of charging more money. The reason for the rule is that there is only sleeping provided for two people (king size bed). Was told by guest that the "people had to leave their place at a resort", no resort name given, but "did not spend night". Cabin appeared to have had extra guests stay overnight. We do not misrepresent our view from the cabin. There is an abundance of two bedroom cabins in our area.
Peaceful and fun retreat. Was perfect to decompress!
We felt the cabin was so quaint and cozy with the fireplace and water effect. We went on our honeymoon and it was so nice to just relax. not too far from Gatlinburg.
check in and out was easy.
Odis was very understanding and accommodating
It was very nicely equipped.
loved the ping pong and pool tables and the whirlpool tub as well!

Thank you so very much for your review! We do hope to accommodate you again in the future. Maybe on an anniversary?!
Very nice and relaxing!
Washer/Dryer didn't work so well which is the reason for the 4 star rating. Everything else was very enjoyable! Beautiful, clean and serene! Had a wonderful time! Hot tub was wonderful!
Thank you for your great review. The guests that checked out the same day you checked in informed us of the problem with the washer/dryer which was a Sunday, on Monday we contacted the appliance repair company and scheduled repair on Thursday the 16th. We do apologize for the inconvenience
and do hope you will visit with us in the future. Thank you for your stay and for this review.
