Guestbook comments from the manager

We've enjoyed a fine week in your house and in the beautiful Ceret. The house was charming and we four oldies have trained our leg muscles well by going up and down the stairs.

For the past 5 years we have traveled to the south of France to find, for however short a period, an experience that gives us that perfect balance of close-to-the-culture living and indulgence in the area's offerings - food, wine, music, art, history, etc. Add to that living high up on the deck where the bells sound loudly, the pigeons coo and chimney swifts circle makes this place very special. As so many reviews conclude, we will be back.

Great return visit

  • 5 of 5

We returned after three years to this lovely house in Ceret. The roof terrace was just as we remembered, secluded overlooking the church and rooftops. The house is comfortable and provides enough space for our family of four. Ceret itself is wonderful with weekly Saturday market and shops and cafes. Jay was very helpful and allowed us to get into the house as early as possible and facilitated an early departure at the end of the week. A week was definitely not enough and we plan to return again. Thanks Jay.

Fell in love with Ceret

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for a very relaxing week in September. The house is lovely and has everything you need and right in the gorgeous town of Ceret with bars restaurants, art and the fabulous Saturday market.... loved the carnival feel of the Ronde Ceretane 2014. I have the CD of the band to bring back the memory. If I start training now maybe I could enter next year! thankyou Jay for easy communication and a warm welcome. Only regret was we couldn't stay longer.

We really had a wonderful tim ein Ceret and the lovely house in the middle of the town. Unfortunately the church starts ringing 7 o'clock in the morning, too early for us in our holidays!

Wonderful Ceret townhouse

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic holiday. The house was exactly as advertised, right in the heart of the town. We were met by the very friendly Angie who explained everything we needed to know and gave suggestions for parking and local bars and places to visit. The house itself was perfect for me, my husband and two daughters. The best bit was the wonderfully private roof terrace which was great for sunbathing and drinks and meals. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was fantastic weather for the whole two weeks. We loved the town and we went on day trips to Spain, Collioure, Amelie-les-Bains etc as well as visiting the local municipal swimming pool every day- we all want to go back again, best holiday for a long time.
