Welcome to Center Beach 2600 and thank you for visiting us! Our stunning 3 bedroom and 2 bath beach house is one block from tropical Fort Lauderdale Beach. We named our home Center Beach 2600 because it is located on 2600 Center Avenue, steps to beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach. Fort Lauderdale is near and dear to our hearts as we lived here for many years and have many family and friends here. After moving to Nashville and missing Fort Lauderdale Beach, Center Beach 2600 is now one of our vacation homes. We invite you to make Center Beach 2600 your home away from home....we know you will enjoy it!

We have had the good fortune of staying in many five star hotels and resorts such as the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys. These places have had a strong influence on how we designed Center Beach from the bed linens and mattresses to the kitchen to the outdoor pool. Center Beach can sleep 10 comfortably in the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We invite you to relax outside on the beautiful and tropical patio. The patio is excellent for entertaining, as there is ample patio furniture.

Escape after a long sun filled day to the upstairs master suite. The king size bed with the mattress and linens of the highest-quality.... comparable to 5 star hotels. The room is equipped with a 42 inch plasma TV. Walk-in closet is spacious and organized with hangars. The bathroom has a dual vanity and walk in shower.

Second master bedroom is tucked away downstairs which can sleep 4. This bedroom has a king size bed and a day bed with trundle. Relax and rest in high-quality mattresses and linens in these beds. Enjoy the tropical pool through the sliding glass door. It is equipped with a 42 inch plasma TV. There is a nice size closet with hangars.

The third guest bedroom is ideal for the kids. It has 2 bunk beds with high-quality mattresses and linens which can sleep 4. This bedroom has a 30 inch plasma TV. Closet is organized with hangars.

The beautiful dining room table can seat 8 and an additional 4 can be seated at the counter. While having dinner you can overlook the beautiful patio and pool.

The kitchen has up to date appliances. There are four counter stools. For the chef, there are full sets of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, silverware, etc.

The downstairs living room has a 55 inch plasma TV. There is a leather sofa and a cocktail table.

The laundry room has a washer and dryer.

We have a child who is allergic to pets....so please no pets.

Also, absolutely no smoking on the premises.

We currently live in Nashville, TN. I lived in Ft Lauderdale for 15 years where I met my wife Hollie. Hollie is a native South Floridian. We have family in South Florida and love this home as we spend quite a bit of time in Ft Lauderdale.

Chicly Furnished House & Beautifully Landscaped Tropical Pool a min walk from quieter area of beach!

This Beach House was decorated with high end furniture in a very chic but homey and comfortable style. Upon driving up the neighborhood was a mix of smaller and larger homes. Some were beautiful and some were not but this house fit somewhere in the middle-top of the spectrum.

Upon entering is when we were wowed. Medium sized living room, kitchen, and dining room space all in an open format with raised bar off the kitchen. The upstairs loft was reserved for me (the bachelor) which had a king bed and master bath. Very large room and bath with a narrow balcony facing the pool and patio. My friends all reported that the beds were extremely comfortable, as was mine. We felt that there was a proper amount of towels, kitchen essentials, etc.

When we entered the pool and patio we were blown away. It was a good sized pool and patio, and the landscaping was amazing. It was like our own little tropical paradise. The landscaping provided pretty good privacy from neighbors even though the houses were very close. The pool was nicely maintained with clear water, and not overly chlorinated.

The Property Manager, Ronnie, was excellent. Very responsive and also very kind. He lives just a couple houses away so he is very accessible. My friends said he arrived randomly a couple times to service the pool and patio and he was very nice to them as well.

The house is only a minute walk to a quieter part of the long beach that stretches across Ft Lauderdale. It's nicely maintained and the sand is clean but not the softest sand we've seen. It's not rocky or sharp with shells though. It was nice.

Also it's just a few min Uber or Cab ride from the hopping parts of Ft Lauderdale. We found the Ubers to be very convenient to access everything we came to see, which was primarily beach side restaurants and bars as well as some clubs and bars downtown Ft Lauderdale. There is a cool tiki hut bar less than a mile walk north on the beach.

Literally my ONLY regret is that we had to leave. If ever wanted to move to Ft Lauderdale I would try to buy this house, haha.

Really clean. Great location!

Favorite part was the location. Quick access to 2/3 beaches, nice clean beaches. Beds were comfortable. We didn't cook but the kitchen had plenty of stuff if we needed it. Pool was great, really private.

Clean, well appointed, private yard with very nice pool, good space.

Centre Beach 2600 is close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants but not so close that your peace and quiet is disturbed. If you like Jazz and Blues, Blue Jean Blues is close by and is a great spot for live music. Easy access to downtown Fort Lauderdale with a good night life. The rental team were helpful and attentive. A really good experience.

I believe most of the reviews have to be from acquaintances of the owner, J. Toby Gray, or possibly they are from his employees, whom he often references in his "powerful" and "influential" position.

We stayed in the home for a few days at the end of September, first of October. The home is ok, but not worth the price. There are holes in the wall and broken chairs outside, and it was not very clean-which we informed the owner of immediately. We were extremely concerned about the thousands (not an over exaggeration) of mosquitoes around the backyard-as this was not an issue anywhere else we went in Fort Lauderdale- the owner has not taken care of or sprayed his extensive vegetation in the backyard, which was overgrown and caused much of the issue. Others did not have the same issues. The windows look directly in to houses that face the beach and they can look directly in to your house, as they are much taller and block the view and sun for most of the day. It was very intrusive. Also know ahead of time, the caretaker will constantly be in your house and on your property during the stay with no notice for a variety of reasons, including patching holes in the wall. The owner talked horribly about the previous renters so we certainly aren't the first people to have issues.

We were also there during the Hurricane. Mr. Gray waited until the last minute to give us the okay to leave the property and give us our money back, then after saying multiple times he would refund two nights, changed his mind and said he would not. He threatened attorneys and made up stories, so instead of a vacation with a shorter stay, we had to also get our attorneys involved, which finally forced Mr. Gray to refund. It's a shame what he boasts himself to be-a great guy with a five star property-when he is actually the opposite-a very dishonest man with a subpar property. He threatened us and when he realized that wouldn't work-he backed off. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! It is not worth the price and the owner has some significant issues. This is our personal opinion and experience at this property and only intended to warn future renters of what they are getting in to with this house and this owner. Stay somewhere else-tons of nicer and less expensive properties on the beach.

We shared the property with another family (5 kids total) and had a blast. The backyard oasis was private and perfect to for relaxing after going to the beaches and site seeing. We would definitely recommend this property! Not to mention Ron (neighbor/maintenance) was very helpful in suggesting locations to visit and was very attentive to any questions we had on the property.
