About Brian Heade

Brian was born in Cardiff, Wales and Val in Hampton Court, Surrey. We have been living outside of the UK since 1980, and retired to Cyprus in 2008.

Brian Heade purchased this villa in 2000

Why Brian Heade chose Paphos & Suburbs

We built our main home in 1994, and later had the opportunity to purchase the plot in front of ours. So, we were able to build the holiday home in 2000, two levels below us, which enabled us to save our magnificent views.

What makes this villa unique

The benefit of the home, is that, Brian and Val live above the property for any local advice and problem resolutions. However, we do try to have minimal impact on the guests, and carry out the gardening and pool cleaning facilities when guests are not in residence

It has the Minthis Hills Golf Course within a 10 minute car journey. The village has two tavernas, a shop, a bank and a number of coffee shops. It also has the only authentic Micro Brewery in Cyprus, Aphrodite's Rock Brewing Company, producing a variety of European beers, lager and ciders. Tsada is strategically placed between the tourist areas of Paphos (20 minutes) and Polis (30 minutes) car drive

Golf: A 10 minute drive takes you to Minthis Hills Golf Course in Tsada. There are three other golf courses within a 30 minute drive of Tsada, these are Secret Valley, Aphrodite Hills and Elea.

An idyllic villa with wonderful owners

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for a week and half in between moving home to get some much needed peace and quite, relaxation, and sunshine. This villa hit the spot perfectly. It is clean and very spacious for 2 adults, with a lovely large pool, plenty of places to relax in the sunshine around the pool or in the gardens, with areas to eat dinner and BBQ outside too. The villa is located in small and very quiet residential area/village and is a short walk from an excellent traditional Greek Cypriot taverna that we ate and drank at on several occasions. It is also walking distance to a small village square witha few other restuarants, and is just a 15 min drive to Paphos and local supermarkets. The owners, Brian and Val, live in an adjacent property, and are really friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable on the local area. They clearly take great pride in this villa and in making sure guests have a perfect stay. It happened to be my birthday whilst we were there, and they had phoned ahead to the restaurant that we were eating at and purchased a bottle of wine for us as a gift, which was totally unexepcted but wonderful! I would highly recommend staying here, it's one of the nicest villas we've been to! Thanks Brian and Val!

Peacful and Tranquil

  • 5 of 5

This was our 3rd stay at Brian and Val's villa and as per the times before it was superb , for us its a great location with restaurants within walking distance . The brewery just over the hill is a great place for a pizza and a pint (or 2) The Villa was very clean and tidy as usual with everything we needed . Brian and Val made some new recommendations for drinks / food (Suite 48) which were excellent with great view of Paphos harbour . Brian and Val are great hosts , they make you feel part of the family without been intrusive , all in all a great relaxing holiday and we will be back in 2018 - already booked for May .

Idyllic retreat with the most wonderful hosts

  • 5 of 5

We keep returning to this retreat since 2012, just had our 5th stay there, and are already looking forward to our next! The owners keep the house in good shape constantly renewing furniture and installations and lovingly caring for the spacious garden. The highlight is the huge pool - the cleanest we have ever seen. Val and Brian are wonderful hosts who will provide you with tipps for restaurants, trips and shopping, and who will make you feel at home. Thanks for many wonderful holidays! David and Patrick

Shsh, Don't Tell Everyone!

  • 5 of 5

We have used this villa every year for the past 8/9 years and consider ourselves as part of the extended Brian and Val Heade family. However, we don't want too many people to know about it, as the bookings are already being taken for 2018 and we don't want to miss out! The photographs and descriptions of the villa are accurate but cannot explain the peace and quiet of this enchanting corner of Tsada village. Neither can they describe the pleasure of sitting in the pool on the steps (now provided with a sun-shade) with a glass of Kalamos wine and a good book, with the temperature reaching 45 degrees! We love this place, Tsada village and the Paphos area in general, but don't tell everyone!

We were one of Brian and Val's first customers in 2008, and we have returned almost every year since then. For the past two years we have visited in May, and have enjoyed lovely weather - the pool was touching 28 degrees this year! As someone who - in part - uses the break at Tsada to write music, the peace and lovely gardens are ideal. There are two good restaurants within walking distance, and we also enjoy cooking local produce in the very well-appointed kitchen. Having written a few reviews in the past, I'm running out of superlatives for this one , but the number of five star reviews on this site tell their own story. We were so pleased to find this gem - and the lovely owners - nine years ago, completely by chance, and it changed our holidaying for ever !! Many thanks to you both.

Owner's Response: What a wonderful review. Stephen and Pat have become a part of our extended family, who as returnees, make up 50% of our annual bookings. It brings a whole new concept to 'Timesharing', that is, the ability to enjoy a holiday without any of the financial overheads of maintaining your own property. We look forward to their next visit in 2018.

Calm and cozy apartment with fantastic garden/pool

  • 5 of 5

Seeking for a week of quietness and relaxation, we found the perfect spot to do so. The villa is not very far away from the airport (20 min) and easy to find. Since we arrived late night, it was fantastic that Val & Brian provided a starter kit - even with self made jam.

The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden, many places to enjoy the sun and a beautiful view. We were particularly surprised about the large size of the pool - perfect to take a swim! The interior of the villa is equipped with literally everything you need, I found all the items (and even more) what I have at home. The villa is very spacious, has a big living room and bed room. Perfect for our needs! Although we had not had strong internet connection, we enjoyed very much the large DVD collection.

Around the villa, there are places to eat nearby and down the street you'll find also a small shop. Paphos, the cultural capital of the island, is some 10 min away which means there is the full offer of supermarkets, restaurants, and anything else what you are searching for.

Besides the cultural sites in Paphos, by car there is a lot more to do and explore around Tsada. Val & Brian are always happy to assist and answer any query and questions.

Altogether we had a great time and would visit again any time!

Owner's Response: Many thanks Dina and Peter for your constructive review, Val and I are so pleased that you both enjoyed your time at our guest villa. You are correct about the poor internet connection. However, all guests are encouraged to use the WiFi provided from our home, which is only a few steps up from the swimming pool. We would be more than pleased to welcome you back sometime in the future.
