Your own townhouse in a condominium complex with privately owned units giving a 'village feel'; your seclusion is protected by security and entry gates. This townhouse is tastefully appointed and is located just a few steps from the resort's private beach with an awsome view of the sea. What's more, it faces the world famous Negril Sunset! Enjoy snorkeling in underwater caves, being splashed by sea spray in the rock pools, go for an early morning swim in the refreshing Caribbean Sea or walk or run laps on the two thirds of a mile walking track surrounded on 3 sides by a view of the ocean! Venture out of this private 14 acre complex to the bustle of downtown Negril, to see the cliff divers at Rick's Cafe or go to the numerous romantic restaurants of Negril along the cliffs or beachside! Then return to The Point Village for your own quiet private relaxation!

On some evenings you may wish just to stay in your townhouse and be pampered with dinner prepared by your own Island cook with a wide repertoire of Jamaican dishes, including salt fish and ackee, fried or curried chicken, curried goat, fresh fish, steamed or curried lobster, garlic shrimp. Don't forget Jerk, the award winning Jamican hot barbequed meat that is world famous!

This 3 bedroom, 2 story townhouse is just across from the private main beach and is ideal for family vacations, family reunions, business networking interspersed with island ambiance or a work-friends retreat. The main floor has a roomy kitchen with an alcove opening to a spacious dining room and a family room with a flat screen TV, cable television with BBC and North American channels, a DVD/VCR player, a local cellphone, a landline phone, and Internet with private wifi and the signal can be accessed on the beach! There are two leather recliners and a full-sized leather sofa and coffee table in the family room. A half-bath is located on the main floor for convenience. A beautiful wood staircase winds up to the second floor where three bedrooms and two full baths are located. The Master Bedroom has an adjoining Master Bathroom with granite vanity tops, a fully tiled shower/tub enclosure, & a window with a view of the sea. The guest bathroom is similar. The Master Bedroom and Guest Bedroom each contain a hand-crafted queen-sized Captain's Bed and handcrafted night tables. Both bedrooms have a door leading to the upper balcony which has a bar-height table and chairs to give you an unobstructed view of the gardens, beach & the Sea. Both bedrooms have large closets.The third bedroom is over the breezeway and it boasts a 'Romeo and Juliet Viewing Balcony' which gives you a breathtaking view as well as a cooling breeze. It has a window with a beautiful view of the gardens. This room has two single beds and a wardrobe for hanging clothes, drawers and mirrors. Its perfect for singles or for the kids. The townhouse is fully furnished and is well-stocked with everything you need in a home-away-from-home. It boasts a modern kitchen, with granite counter tops, a glass top stove and full sized oven, microwave & toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. The unit has a full sized washer and dryer, A/C in all rooms. The hot water heater is on the roof.

We provide a complementary taxi ride to the HiLo Grocery Store on the day of arrival or the next day. The driver waits and takes you back to your townhouse at The Point. There are four folding beach chairs and beach towels for use by guests of unit 185. There are inflatables with a pump for relaxing in the water. ALL provided with your rental.

Separate arrangements can be made for an Island cook to come in and prepare meals for your group. Please contact the Manager for details.

The property itself was clean, had the amenities we needed with ease and access to the beach.

I was looking for a place that I could bring my family to where we could all have some space yet have fun together. An all inclusive resort wasn’t right for us. This worked out well. My kids are young adults 21,19,18, and 15. It was important for me to feel safe as they wandered. I was disappointed in the large section of nude beaches adjacent to the property. Not the fault of this property, just wished I’d done a little more research. We enjoy walks along the beach and wanted to enjoy an evening walk along the beach for dinner. We did do this, but it was a swift walk through Hedonism’s beach over to Sandals. It’s all part of life, just not my preference.

The taxi services in Negril were fantastic and the new Beach Lux property with a gift shop and several restaurants - a 10 minute walk

Down the beach was a great atmosphere and good food. PimentoZ Jerk Chicken!

All in all - I would definitely tell a friend. Rolf May was very helpful through our rental process and Erika who came half way through to clean was very sweet.

Beautiful condo on the beach.

This condo is right on the beach. I love to open the windows and listen to the wave hitting the shore line. You can also grab a beach chair and enjoy the cool breeze from the ocean. Such a clean and tranquil place to spend your vacation. Everyone was so pleasant and easy going. I would consider this condo on my next vacation.

We had the best vacation ever! Every one was beyond pleased with our accommodations. The condo was beautiful and very well maintained. The bedrooms were perfect and we were not in each others way. I also want to say that Ms. Erica was wonderful as well.

Both dinners were to die for and she had really great advise. We all would surely visit again.

All about the fit!

If you want a quiet spot, very calm and beautiful beach and rent condos because you like to do some of your own cooking this is probably the perfect spot for you. We felt a little isolated and thought we may be able to walk to a few things but literally everything we did required a taxi ranging from $20-$30 round trip for 4.

The unit itself is very comfortable (beds, linens, AC, wifi,etc). It's nice! And the best location within the resort. It's right on the sandy beach. View of booby caye and close to the pool. Rolf and Andrea were great with communication and providing info on the area. Check in was so easy with packet they sent and lock box. Every rental I've had has some stuff left by previous renters that comes in handy but this one was very cleaned out (no can coolers, large plastic cups, salt and pepper, etc).

You can walk down the beach but you have to walk through hedonism which is funny once or twice and then gets creepy. There are several other large all inclusives before you get to the boardwalk (about 15 minute walk). But that restaurant was the worst we experienced in negril. Food seems microwaved and WAY overpriced. Any "civilization" beyond the boardwalk is a very long walk (and we love to walk when we travel).

The taxi recommendation from Rolf is awesome, Joseph. He's prompt and prices are fair. But I would recommend researching the taxi culture in negril if you stay here because you need a taxi everytime you leave. Know what a fair price is. I used a friend living here to help with this. For 4 of us $30 round trip to cliffs/west end, $20 to far side of beach (like boutbon beach) and $15 to this side of beach (cosmos or coco la Palm). Or consider rentng a car here for a day or two.

Point Village has a strange vibe. Everything is clean but it's a bit of a ghost town. There are deserted buildings all over (oceanfront bar, water sports building and large restaurant by pool with menus and equipment still in it, kids activity building). pool is definitely clean and swimable but there is a lot of painted cement that is very worn, a dry fountain, empty hot tub and dilapidated ladder). That being said, it's very quiet and feels super safe.

Know what you're getting into. Know this is a very well managed unit. Like i said, if you want a very quiet spot, this may be a good fit. I have teens but when they were little I could have overlooked the ghost town vibe because of the peaceful beach and comfort of the unit.

You will definitely want to explore. The Long Bay Beach is where the action is, so bike, grab a taxi, or start walking right from the clothing-optional beach and see where it takes you. Don't miss the West End Cliffs which are as beautiful during the day as they are at sunset. Walk down the beach and spend a relaxing day at the beach. Once your feet are wet in Negril you may want to see more of the island and there are wonderful tours and guides to lead the way.
