About the property

2/2, with fireplace, Downtown location! HEART of Cedar Key

In the heart of Cedar Key, this 2/2 town house is beautifully furnished and ready for YOUR vacation.

Across the street from the Cedar Key City Park with picnic tables, gazebo, Gulf beach and two age appropriate playgrounds, this home is equipped for one, two or four people. Two inflatable airbeds mean we can accommodate larger groups. We are also pet friendly, so bring the WHOLE family.

At ground level is an open deck with patio seating; come watch the world go by-yes this is the place to watch the Seafood Festival Parade, the 4th of July parade and people watch ALL year. On the 2nd floor is an open porch opening off the master bedroom, during temperate months, leave the sliding doors open and enjoy the sea breezes during your oh so decadent afternoon naps.

Come into the house, with clean lines and cool cream tones. The fireplace is on the north wall, remember to bring your firewood in the winter, or we can help you find some. The kitchen is fully stocked and opens into the living room with breakfast bar and three stools. On the side is a dining table with seating for 4. Yes, you can cook in the fully stocked kitchen, with all appliances and still be part of the party. There is a full bath downstairs, and for convenience the washer and dryer are located at this level also.

Upstairs is another full bath and two bedrooms, both with AMPLE closets. The master bedroom has a full length porch, with sliding glass doors; you can watch the Gulf from the bed, or slip outside and enjoy the breezes as you watch the moon rise over the Gulf of Mexico. At City Park are picnic tables, gazebos, and two playgrounds. Any events that occur in Cedar Key happen here, this IS the place to be for Seafood Festival-all the food is here, fishing tournaments-the weigh-ins occur here, and for family reunions, you have front row seats.

Just one block to the boat ramp, you can put your boat in, then park at YOUR townhouse. Want a fishing guide? They are located at the Marina, right next to the boat ramp and boat ours. Kayaking? You can rent your kayak less than 200 feet from your front door. Golf cart? Right next door. Paddle boat or Canoe? They will bring it to you or launch it for you, no more 200 feet away.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped, right in downtown and 'just out the front door' distance to everything, you can spend your leisurely days enjoying the fun and sun of Cedar Key and at night walk to the restaurants and night life. We are 2 blocks to fine dining, one block to live music (on weekends) and three blocks to the grocery store and liquor store. Available year round, we love to offer you a place to spend your winter, far from the snow and ice. Multi-month pricing is available, just ask.

Awesome time at Billy's Place

  • 5 of 5

This is a great value townhouse, especially if you want to be within walking distance of everything Cedar Key has to offer. We had a great week here, with the sand beach across the street, right next to the kayak rental. The beach was busy on the weekends, but even then it was never packed to the gills. My family rented kayaks twice, and both times spent at least an hour surrounded by dolphins! Jenny was awesome to work with, and made sure we were happy with everything at the townhouse. The restaurants and nightlife opportunities are all less than 5 minutes walk, and on Friday there was live entertainment in the park across the street. I brought my bicycle and was easily (and safely) able to get daily 20-50 mile rides around the area.

The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed except a pizza cutter (we managed to survive). The beds were comfy, and the townhouse comes with an inflatable mattress. There is a large sofa in the main bedroom that is very large and could easily be a sleeping spot for one. The two full bathrooms were clean and everything worked great. The clothes washer and dryer also were great to have, as we didn't have to pack as many clothes. There are charcoal grills across the street, so we brought our own portable gas grill. Wifi was fast enough for my son to play his online game, League of Legends.

Our AT&T cell phone coverage was spotty throughout the island, and we were told Verizon does much better. We still could use the AT&T cell phones, but had to be careful to not drop coverage. Overall, the location is great, but that also means there is traffic from beach visitors, and from the boat launch, that pass right by the townhouse. We had the windows and doors open all the time, so at peak traffic times, there was some noise. If we had closed the windows and turned the A/C on, it would not have been noticeable.

We stopped in Chiefland for our main grocery run, since there is a Winn Dixie and WalMart Supercenter there. There are two small grocery stores within walking distance of Billy's Place, which was especially nice after I learned you cannot buy beer on Sunday's.

We also did a charter fishing trip, which required us to walk 3 minutes to the boat dock. After a morning of successful fishing, we took our fresh fish to Steamer's, who cooked it up for us! Overall, my wife and I were ready to sell the house at home and move here. We can't thank Jenny enough for our awesome week

Our favorite Little Town now has a favorite place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We are frequent in Cedar Key, do not live far from the awesome city. We stay often in Cedar Key and always happy. But this stay was well Perfect just as CK is. This condo is located across from the city beach, just a hop and skip away is the boat ramp and Dock Street. The Condo has an porch downstairs but my favorite porch was upstairs outside our bedroom. I slept with the glass siding doors open, I sat on top porch late into the night and early in the am with my cup of coffee. Our dog enjoyed the porch and view as well. This was my soon to be husbands bday weekend and it was the best by far. The condo is fully equipped. (Towels and clothes is all you need) Very clean and very Homey and so comfortable. We most certainly will be back, and plan to stay here when we elope in this town that owns our hearts. We were greeted with smiles and laughter and treated just as if we were life long friends. Thank you!!!!

Owner's Response: So VERY glad you enjoyed the town house!! The upstairs porch is a great spot to start the day, or wind down the evening, those soft breezes whispering across your smiling face make the sunrise a bit brighter, the winding down of the day a bit smoother. Hope to see you SOON!

Best birthday ever!!!

  • 5 of 5

A birthday weekend for my husband with some incredible friends, provided by the best friends ever. Enjoyed every minute from arrival to departure!! Your accommodations were lovely and although we were there in the summer, we look forward to a winter return with the fireplace. It kind of gave me that "freshly cleaned, welcome home feeling. (very cozy and comfortable) The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for all cooking needs. Its location is absolutely perfect, very short walking distances to everything. Rented a boat and had 2 amazing days fishing and boating. Lovely views from bedroom balcony or front porch. I know we'll be back.

Great Vacation Spot

  • 5 of 5

Billie's Place was a wonderful property- in a great location, right in the middle of everything Cedar Key has to offer.

The Townhome had everything you could want, well appointed kitchen, the beds were cozy and comfy. The balcony off the master was our favorite place to hang out for coffee in the morning, and drinks in the evenings.

The local food was fantastic, I think we tried every restaurant the locals told us to try-- Seafood was fresh, drinks were great, and the location of each place had it's own personality.

If you like laid back, shorts & flip flops, warm summer breezes and waves from strangers-- you won't regret visiting Cedar Key.

We hope the future brings us back to this special little town & will definitely do our best to stay at Billie's :)

The gulf cart renter next door gave no problems he was a very nice guy. Ms Pinto was a joy to deal with! We go to cedar key a couple time every year and have used several condos this one was less expensive had same amenity as the others and close to everything! We would use ms Pinto and this condo again!
