Amazing home

  • 5 of 5

This property was perfect for my extended family stay while we were there for a wedding. The place has plenty of space for 4 separate families to all have their own private space as well as having numerous large gathering areas which can accommodate everyone. The landscaping was in great condition and everything was taken care of daily by the cleaners and groundskeepers. The house is very safe and should be strongly considered by any large groups looking to stay in the area. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic home

  • 5 of 5

"Mikes house" was spectacular for our annual family vacation. 9 people aged 10 to 75 all enjoyed the awesome grounds including gorgeous flowers, fantastic swimming pool and even a basketball court for our 13 year old grandson. The home was accessorized with high class artwork, pottery and lots of greenery. There was a wonderful housekeeper who cooked us an authentic Guatemalan meal at our request. We contracted with Miguel for a chauffeur who was prompt and reliable for our various trips. Miguel even helped me when my debit card did not work to obtain quetzals. OUTSTANDING home!

Dream villa

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful villa with all the amenities. Right from the beginning the communication with Miguel was prompt and easy. The villa was so amazing, it was hard to leave, from the beautiful artwork to the fountains to the comfortable beds and linens. Each day the maid and gardner came, they were quiet and we hardly knew they were there. We were a group of 8 people, two families. The house had plenty of room to accommodate us all. Easily the most beautiful place we've stayed. I hope to come back again.

Antigua stay for family wedding

  • 5 of 5

The Vill is a beautiful place. It is a great home to share with several other couples or a alarge family. the grounds are beautiful and the staff is very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much. the house had everything we needed and a lot of space for different interests including a great swimming pool that our gran children enjoyed daily. The gazebo near the pool was also an excellent place to socialize in the evenings. We would deffinitley come back.

All it is cracked up to be

  • 5 of 5

The photos did not lie. The best thing about the beautiful villa was Miquel, the property manager who helped us with everything--arranging tours, transport, money exchanges, groceries etc. In addition, he has a marvelous personality. The only downside to the villa was the walk to town.

Great impression on arriving in Antigua

  • 5 of 5

This was the nicest home we have ever rented. The house is very well done; the outside and the inside. Many plants and artwork in every room but all the rooms were very comfortable with several gathering/lounging areas everyone felt at home but not on top of each other. We were two families with two kids each and it worked out beautifully. The master suite was a real treat with its own sitting area and verandah.

The garden and pool setting were stunning and we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the garden and the views and once the hot tub warmed up we enjoyed that each evening. The only slight drawback, and not much of one, is that it is a bit far to walk into town, this was remedied by a few Tuk Tuk rides and calling a taxi driver that we became comfortable with. This house definitely warrants 5 stars.

Antigua Guatemala is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Founded on March 10, 1543 the Spanish conquistadors founded present-day Antigua, and again, it was named Santiago de los Caballeros. For more than 200 years it served as the seat of the military governor of the Spanish colony of Guatemala, a large region that included almost all of present-day Central America and the southernmost State of Mexico: Chiapas. In 1566 King Felipe II of Spain gave it the title of 'Muy Noble y Muy Leal' ('Very Noble and Very Loyal').

With its cobblestone streets, colonial churches, and many restaurants to choose from, Antigua Guatemala will enchant all of your senses.
