Our beach home is situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico, on the end of a four townhome complex. The area is extremely quiet and uncrowded. As you walk off of the deck you will have your toes in the beautiful white sand. Beneath the deck is a wonderful wooden porch swing... Perfect for sipping cold drinks and watching the kids play in the sand, or simply relaxing in the shade and feeling the gentle sea breeze on your face. There is also a hot/cold outdoor shower beneath the deck.

The main level includes a large living area leading to a large deck overlooking the beach and beautiful Gulf of Mexico. There are outdoor lounge chairs for relaxing, as well as a table for eating meals as you watch the sunset to the West. There is also a table in the main level eating area that seats six comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen opens to the living area, and is stocked with all you would need to prepare meals during your stay at the beach. There is an additional countertop bar area with seating. Also on the main level is a large half-bath with washer/dryer.

Upstairs you will find the master bedroom equipped with a queen size bed, en suite bathroom, and a balcony with stunning ocean front views. The secondary bedroom across the hall has two twin beds, en suite bathroom, and balcony which also offers ocean views.

There is parking for 3 vehicles, which includes covered parking for one. There are several umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach toys that have been left by previous guests for you to gently use and leave for the next visitors.

An easy bike ride or leisurely walk will take you to Rosemary Beach for dining, shopping, concerts, and festivals. The home is a short drive to Alys Beach, Seaside, Watercolor, and Grayton Beach. Panama City Beach is also very close by, and offers more shopping, water parks, putt-putt golf, outlet mall, and dining options.

Inlet Beach also offers access to the miles and miles of pedestrian and bike paths located along Scenic Highway 30A. A short stroll along the beach will take you to Phillips Inlet, for which the area is named. Phillips inlet is located in Camp Helen State Park which offers nature trails, bird watching, and wildlife observation. There are the remnants of an old pier at the mouth of the inlet, which offers a glimpse into the areas history and picturesque photo opportunities.

The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) is 19.5 miles from our beach home. Publix and Winn Dixie groceries are a 5 minute drive away.

Great location, condo a bit shabby

  • 3 of 5

We loved the location of the unit and the easy access to the beach. The size of the unit was great and the views were fantastic. Unfortunately, the condo itself was not in great condition. There was a mildew-y smell from the minute we walked in the door. Old carpet on the stairs. Lots of missing kitchen items and a dishwasher that is about to fall apart. The walkway to the beach needs some maintenance as many overgrown vines and tall grasses make it easy to trip and/or cut your legs.

Needs some TLC

  • 3 of 5

The location of this property is great - right on the beach but the property needs some maintenance and updating. The back sliding glass door which was the main access to the beach was not functional so we had to keep going around from the front. There were also several pickets from the balcony railings that were missing so beware if you have little ones. The whole place is just a bit worn out and needs to be refreshed. We wanted to love this place but probably won't be back.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Unfortunately bad weather, winds, and sand are tough on the rollers of the sliding door. One big yank on the door, and the frame was broken. We have repaired the door frame and replaced the rollers, and the door is working properly now. In addition, we are making improvements to the deck railings to decrease the space between spindles. We take great pride in offering a clean, comfortable rental property directly on the beach...which often means repairs to the wear and tear of being located on the beach. We also make every effort to address concerns immediately when made aware of them. We hope all of our guests are happy and relaxed when staying in our home.

Great Memories were made

  • 5 of 5

We decided to take a family vacation during fall break. None of us had ever been to this area, so it was going to be an adventure for all. We LOVED the location and enjoyed our stay at this darling beach house. The porch was so inviting, and we were on the beach the entire time. No one ever wanted to leave to even go into town! The owner was in touch with us during our stay with a few questions we had. Wanting to make this one of our annual get aways.

Perfect is the word!

  • 5 of 5

First of all let me just say that I am a bit OCD when it comes to vacation planning. I looked at so many rentals on VRBO that my head hurt. We didn't want crowds but still wanted to be close to the action. A last minute cancelation was our window and -Wow!!... That is what I said when we walked in the door! This townhouse is amazing, just a few minutes from Publix ,about 10 minutes from Walmart, Oh.....and literally just steps from the beach. It was so awesome to get up and have coffee on one of the two desks and the breeze coming off of the water was perfect every single day. Although the beach was not crowded the entire time we were there........The swing under the deck was my happy place! There was a day or so when the weather was a bit overcast and could see a thunderstorm coming. I sat under there and read for what seemed like hours and the breeze was just heavenly.

What's crazy is the air unit actually went out the second day we were there and the owners were right on it! They had maintenance at the house and we had a portable air unit within just a few hours. They got bad news when they were told that the air unit had to be completely replaced. There is no way to predict when things like this are going to happen and trust me, being on vacation without air conditioning is not what you look forward to.....but we couldn't be happier with the responsiveness of the owners and they were constantly checking on us. The air unit was replaced the second day and blowing cold air before noon! Anyone looking to rent this place for their vacation should be very happy to know that the air conditioning unit is brand spanking new and shiny!!

I would definitely come back to this townhouse! Super special memories were made during our stay and I would not have changed a single thing.

Great family vacation spot!

  • 4 of 5

This condo is in an excellent location near Hwy 30A. Perfect for families with young children due to being directly on the beach. The swing on the back porch was an excellent place for morning coffee and listening to the waves. The unit is older, but it is still in good condition. I would recommend staying at this condo and we would definitely stay there again.
