About this property

New one-bedroom, year-round, Guest Cottage on the shore of Flanders Bay looking directly across to Acadia National Park's Cadillac Mountain and the shoreline of Flanders Bay. This waterfront cottage affords easy access to kayaking, shore front walks, and bird watching. Within 10 miles of Schoodic Point, the quiet side of Acadia National Park, visitors will find hiking and biking trails and exquisite seashore vistas. Washing machine and dryer, counter top stove and convection oven, WiFi, TV with an HDMI port for a Roku type device., outdoor gas grill. Perfect location for day-trips to Bar Harbor, hiking and nature trails at the many near-by land conservancies and local fresh water swimming and fishing. Most of these attractions are within 10 miles.

This cottage is fully furnished, with granite kitchen counters, glass-top electric stove, microwave/convection oven, drip coffee maker. The cottage is fully equipped for cooking and dining. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the bathroom has a walk-in shower and washing machine and dryer. All bed and bath linens are provided. The cottage is equipped with a TV with an HDMI port for your ROKU type device, internet, and an outdoor gas grill.

Please note the homeowner lives on the site in a completely separate home. The garage attached to the cottage is shared space used by the homeowner during the summer for gardening and landscape projects/activities.

The view is increbile, the property, very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in Sullivan very much. We own property nearby in Gouldsboro and the cottage made our commute very easy, and made exploring Schoodic and the northern parts of Downeast Maine very easy, as well as accessing ANP. We would very much consider staying with them again in the future.

Amazing location and Cottage

Bonnie and Hugo offering their cottage for our 40th Anniversary was the icing on the cake! What a delightful area, quiet, breathtaking views even in the rain. Traveling to this area you cannot miss viewing and exploring Schoodic Point. They offered excellent dining options and things to do. The cottage is exactly as described and maybe even better. Highly recommend!!! Thanks Bonnie and Hugo, we will return.

It’s all about the view

Been on the shoreline of Flanders Bay, looking over to Cadillac Mountain, watching the tide move in and out, nothing could be more appropriate for a Maine vacation for out-of-state travelers. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very spacious for two people, and had everything you needed. Bonnie and Hugo were so nice! Can’t say enough good things about this place!
