Elisa Court is on the 2nd floor (aprox: 700 sq feet) with an elevator at the entrance. This freshly painted (Dec '09) unit is newly triple-glazed throughout and all on one level, with modern furnishings, non-smoking, clean and well-maintained, with a telephone and wi-fi/broadband internet access. Both the kitchen and bathroom floors are tiled and the apartment is hygienically carpet free.
Bedroom One - Telephone, king-size bed with memory foam mattress, black-out curtains and an oversized chest of drawers, Hi-fi system and closet. Linen provided.
Bedroom Two - Top of the range, luxury super-king zip and link bed, with memory foam latex mattress for the ultimate good night's sleep. This can be split into two twin beds when required - especially helpful if you have a party of four or children. It also has black-out curtains and a double closet. Linen provided.
Living room - Black leather Robin Day sofa, Sony digital wide-screen TV with SKY satellite family package, a video player and a frosted chrome dining table seating four.
Triple-glazing throughout even though Chitty Street is a quiet one way side street, we believe in total hush for sleeping!
Kitchen - Fully fitted kitchen with washer-dryer, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster large enough for bagels, cutlery, blender, cafetiere, crockery, iron, ironing board & clothes dryer.
Bathroom - Bath with separate power shower attachment above. All the towels are provided and freshly laundered.
The tranquillity of Regents Park and beautiful rose gardens are only ten minutes' walk away, plus there is a children's playground named 'Crabtree fields' nearby. The American Church is around the corner and the American Embassy is also within close proximity.
The apartment is surrounded by 8 underground (subway) stations! The nearest, Goodge Street station, is just over a minutes' walk away. The other underground stations are Tottenham Court Road, Warren Street, Euston, Euston Square, Great Portland Street, Regents Park, and Oxford Circus. Plus, there are numerous buses frequenting the area and also excellent rail connections to both Eurostar, Gatwick, and Heathrow Airport. Taxis are plentiful within the area. You will literally be able to wave one down around the corner.
So, after a busy day of sightseeing or shopping, pop back to the comfort of your temporary London home, drop off your bags, kick off your shoes and relax for a while, before heading back out again for an evening of fine dining, entertainment, or a wondrous stroll amidst the spectacular glitz of London's famous West End.

We just got back home yesterday after a wonderful week in London and Chitty Street. The flat worked well for us. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the location: we were able to walk to everywhere and didn't start taking the underground til the end of the week after we'd already walked all over the city and felt we "knew" it. (And what a lovely city it is!) It was great then to come "home" at the end of a long day to relax and regroup.
Elisa Court is perfect, close to all transportation, restaurants, shops, pubs. It is quiet, clean and very comfortable. We love that with the extra monies sent we were able to have some snacks and adult beverages on our arrival. Bravo to Anita for taking care of our requests! We will be back again in the near future for more adventures in your city.
Elisa Court is where we always stay in London if it is available. It is in an excellent location on a quiet street. It has all the modern appliances and a great shower. We sometimes travel with an elderly relative and the lift is great (there are about 4 steps from the street to the lobby). It in very close to the tube and has lots of options for buying groceries and for restaurants. There is a great organic grocery store nearby. It is a short walk to the British Museum and 20 minutes to Trafalgar Square.
Anita is a great host. She is always very responsive but never intrusive. Just wonderful!
We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It's clean, modern and spacious, and conveniently located near tube stations, markets, restaurants and tourist attractions. Anita answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay there again.
Our family of four (with an 18 yr old and 21 year old) thoroughly enjoyed staying at Elisa Court. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and a combo living room/kitchen. the living area is small, but had a couch, a chair and dining table and chairs. With the bedrooms, we had enough space to spread out if we wanted. We could walk to several markets to purchase food, and there were many take-out (or take-away in British English!) shops nearby as well. The Goodge Street subway station was 5 minutes away and it was a quick and easy ride to anywhere in the city. My husband likes to get up and eat breakfast early. He had what he needed to cook for himself. But, if you don't want to cook, there are also many many restaurants nearby. Thai, Indian, seafood, Italian, you name it. The owner was responsive to a question we had. She also offered to be available, if needed, when my daughter and friends traveled to London last summer. I appreciated that a lot! Staying here was so much better than staying in a hotel and we would stay here again.
Our family of four (with two small children) rented this apartment along with another couple. We stayed for three nights and were very pleased with the cleanliness, comfort, and aminities we were welcomed with. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was great to cook in, the entire place was extremely clean. The apt is very kid friendly, even a short distance to a really neat park which the kids adored. Good food and coffee just down the street and easy access to the tube. Anita was incredibly kind and quick to respond via email which made me feel more comfortable, as this was our first VRBO experience. We would highly recommend Elisa Court for anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and convenient way to experience London in a more natural fashion as opposed to the typical tourist experience. Anita, thank you for your fantastic customer service and for the great job you do in making your rentals so accommodating and comfortable.
My family of four stayed 8 nights. The location is unbeatable. This isn't fancy or large but had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were comfortable enough. The kitchen is ok for basic needs. The owner was very responsive, and I believe the property was as advertised. I'd stay there again for sure if we venture back to London.
