Ok this review is coming from a group of 3 guys that stayed here to do some grouse hunting. This place was perfect for us, plenty of room to relax after a long hunt, Tv to watch and a full kitchen to cook with. The house was clean, had comfortable beds, well maintained, washer and dryer, front and back porches, fire pit and we had zero issues with anything. Your 20 minutes from a super Walmart, 6 miles from Fred's and if you stay here you better eat at Fred's. Call them for their specials their pizzas are incredible. This home was more convenience for us since it was close to our hunting area. There is a gas station close, the town of Roscommon is 6 miles away and your right in the middle of two interstates I-75 and 127. We will be back next fall a few times we have found our home away from home. Chris

Amazing and can't wait to stay again

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our 6 children. There was plenty of space to sleep. Very comfortable, cozy and clean! We bought our own grocaries and toiletries but Lisa did have things there if anything was forgotten. The area was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful but yet only a few miles from town and the beach. Also, Lisa made herself very available for any questions or concerns and was very prompt with communication. My entire family had a great time and we CAN'T wait to stay again!

Nice Place - Great Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Lisa's place in Roscommon. The house was just as advertised with a lot of room and everything you need for a nice vacation. We had one small issue when we checked in but Lisa resolved it quickly and we were very pleased. We had a good time playing games outside and had some great fires in the nice pit. We would stay here again in the future. Thanks Lisa.

Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here for just one night on the way home, and wish it had been longer. Extremely homey and quiet, it is conveniently located near lakes, trails, state parks, and town as well as I75. Very welcoming and cozy.

Up North Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This place was great. Nice and clean and lots of room to have a family stay here. Tucked in the woods with lots of wild life to see. Not far from town or the National Park. Quiet and peaceful all around. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Economic, great location, very nice condition

  • 5 of 5

A small group of us found this property to be perfect for our needs. It was close to the lake, and 10 mins from down town Roscommon for groceries/gas/pizza (we ordered Fred's which was great)/kayak rentals. Great open space in the family room, and a separate den with a couch (could hold an air mattress). Maybe not ideal for more than 3/4 couples, but perfect for larger families and/or close friends. Charcoal grill and all necessities included. Fire pit and plenty of wood decks to hang around outside. Everything you'd need for laundry available/ and a well equipped kitchen. Also well stocked on towels and bedding. Excellent collection of 90s Disney VHS to keep kids/young adults entertained. Some for the parents as well (we watched bad boys 2). Satillite tv also available which was nice to keep up on current events. Air conditioning provided but didn't seem to really work (was cool but not very strong output), so I'd recommend a box fan/isolating fan to move the air around. It may have also been the filter, but the hvac unit was not accessible to check. Also not a lot of additional chairs for the kitchen table, but there's enough items (larger chairs/small bench) available that opportunists will know how to move items around to make it work. Just put it back the way you found it! All in all - hope to stay here again next year!
