We welcome anyone who would like to stay in our home - and use it as a base from which to explore the stunning Cape.
This lovely home is tranquil and is set in a quaint street in an upmarket suburb. We want you to relax and unwind in our home.
The property has a small lawn garden with a securely enclosed swimming pool.
Very secure property - the property is enclosed by walls with electric Fencing on top of the walls. The property is alarmed and has security cameras monitoring the street and house access areas. The rooms facing onto the street have Steel shutters. There is a security gate at the top of the stairways leading to the three bedrooms. There is secure off-street parking for 3 cars.
The house has been freshly painted and very tastefully furnished – boasting all the comforts of a family home - including a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The property is securely fenced and offers privacy from the neighbors. The small lawn garden, trimmed by flowerbeds, offers shade from the well-established trees. Tranquil evenings can be spent around the Weber Braai (Barbecue), whilst dipping in and out of the swimming pool.
Parents, with small children can relax as the swimming pool is securely enclosed by a fence and can be viewed from the lounge, as well as both the upper and lower balconies. Nature lovers can enjoy the various birds as well as the cheeky squirrels that frequent the little urban oasis.
Three of the bedrooms are upstairs. There is a lockable security gate at the top of the stairs.
There is one bedroom / study (with a sleeper couch) - and bathroom (Shower, toilet and basin) on the lower level. Sleeper couch is suitable for one adult or two children.
The house is situated in a quiet area - but within a 5 minute walk to either the elegant Vineyard Hotel or to the award winning Cavendish Square Shopping mall. Newlands Cricket Club and Rugby grounds are also within walking distance, as is the Life Kingsbury Hospital. Three golf courses are within 7Km from the house. Due to its central location, the traveler is spoiled for choice with a selection of fine dining restaurants, exclusive fashion and retail shops, movie theaters and coffee shops.
Travelling further than the local neighbourhood, this property is central and well-placed to explore the wonderful diversity that Cape Town has to offer. A 10 minute walk to Claremont station, offers the adventure of travelling to the deep south – Muizenburg, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek or Simonstown…or travelling into Cape Town City centre. Similarly, Kirstenbosch Gardens, Constantia wine farms, The Waterfront or the Atlantic Seaboard are all a short trip away. The house is located within close access to the motorways - making trips to the airport, the interior wine lands or other day trips easily accessible.
