About Mari Beerman
Hi, we are retired and living in Nashville, TN. My partner and I live in a little cabin on the Stones River in Nashville. Our Airbnb is in a historic building in a neighboring village near Old Hickory Lake. We love the water and nature and all things "real". Our style is very relaxed and comfortable ... a little eclectic, and fun. We are new to hosting for Airbnb and are hoping to learn from our guests how we can make our location one that you will want to come back to time and again.
Why Mari Beerman chose Old Hickory
We are located in NE Nashville, just 20 minutes from the heart of downtown. In this area you will find fishing, boating, a beach, a waterpark, golfing, shopping malls and flea markets. This one bedroom apt. is roomy and comfortable and the community is quaint with a coffee shop around the corner and a karaoke bar just across the way. Bring a small fishing boat if you like ... we have room. A quiet place to come home to after a day or evening of adventure in spectacular Nashville, TN.
What makes this Apartment unique
Hi, and welcome to Old Hickory Village. There are some really great things to do that are very close by. If you like being in or near the water, you can take a 15 minute ride over to Nashville Shores water park ….. Great fun for all ages, or if you simply want to enjoy a great meal and just be near the water, I would recommend Sams at Turtle Bay, the local Marina. If you like to just relax on a beach and catch some rays, we have a little park just down the road. If fishing is your thing, we have some great places for that as well, really close by. General Jackson’s Home “The Hermitage” is just down the street about 10 minutes away for those who enjoy history and historic homes. For you Flea Market lovers ….. You are in luck !! Right in Old Hickory there are two really great ones. H&H flea Market on Hadley and a few more minutes down the road is Phoenix Flea Mkt. …… One of the best in Nashville. If you want to get some Golfing in we have several courses just minutes away, and one is an award winning course that is very popular (check out the photos on my airbnb site). The closest Shopping Mall is the Rivergate Mall, which is about 10 minutes away, but if you don’t mind a 20 minute drive you can go to the famous OpryMills Mall, which is situated by the Opryland Hotel, the Grand Ole Opry and the General Jackson Riverboat. A scenic drive along our Old Hickory Shoreline will give you a different look at this little community. (Directions) Turn left at the front of the building and make an immediate left turn at the corner. When you come to the stop sign turn right on to Hadley. Look for 8thAve. on the left. Take 8th to where it dead ends in to Riverside Drive. Turn right and follow Riverside all the way to Dabbs Ave. Turn left on Dabbs and left again on 22nd. Turn right onto Riverside. It will end you up back on Old Hickory Blvd. You will pass the Marina along the way. There are too many great restaurants in Nashville to mention, but if you want to eat locally, here are
