About Brooke Roeder Andrus
Emerson Guest Properties was established in 2011, and is owned and operated by Brooke Roeder Andrus, a long time Austin resident. She first became involved in the business by renting her own property as a short-term rental, and quickly found it to be something she both enjoyed and excelled at. It was her desire to provide an experience that would exceed guests' expectations and she developed the skills and know-how needed to do so via the hands-on experience of managing her own rental. It didn't take long for other like-minded property owners to notice her knack and recruit her help. Brooke built Emerson Guest Properties with the goal of directly facilitating positive guest experiences and providing the upmost of care for the homes she represents. She treats every guest with great care and consideration, and treats every home she manages like she would her own. Whether you are a guest looking to have a great experience staying in a short-term rental, or a property owner looking for a manager who focuses on the highest quality of service possible – look no further, Emerson Guest Properties is right for you.

Fun for a small group
Stayed with another couple for a wedding and it was great! Good layout, fun hammock, and near (or cheap Uber) to everything
Stay in Austin
4 of us had a great stay at this flat in Austin. The location is really great, and the communications from the management company were very good. The unit was furnished with everything we needed and very clean. The location was great, within walking of many things on 6th street and closer. The upstairs bedroom was pretty warm, if you have someone who likes it cooler, they should sleep downstairs. While in town we took the Austin Detours trip to Hill Country which included 2 wineries and the Salt Lick BBQ. It was a fun tour that I would recommend.
couples trip to Austin
We stayed in the flat during a recent couples trip to Austin. The trip booking and communications prior to check in were very clear. Upon arrival it was a little difficult to understand where the unit was (its behind a house on Willow St.). Once we found it things were straightforward. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was great, we walked to Lady Bird Lake in the mornings and around the 6th street area in the evening. Its a short uber to the downtown area if you don't feel like walking. We went on a trip to hill country that was nice and we waited for the bats one night and that was a little anti-climactic. The upstairs bedroom doesn't seem to cool very well, but aside from that its a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend for a party of 4.
Wonderful Place to Stay
Our coach house was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was extremely clean and was decorated beautifully in a contemporary way. The kitchen was fantastic, and the beds were very comfortable. It came equipped with lots of back-up paper goods and lots of towels. The upstairs hammock porch was really fun, and the backyard patio table was really fun too. The only thing that I was bummed about was that the television it was Apple TV . There was no live television, so we couldn’t watch the news or sports. Other than that, we were very very happy staying here. Patti, our manager was very easy to get in touch with, very friendly, and very helpful in suggesting restaurants and other things to do.
Beautiful place, clean, comfortable, quiet.
A lovely choice with plenty of room, nice outdoor spaces, everything a person would need. Good location as well as you pretty much have to drive everywhere in Austin anyway. Would recommend and would stay here again.
What a beautiful, peaceful place. Very well outfitted with everything you could need. Many options for outside space as well. My daughter loved the hammock. Would definitely recommend for family.
