Welcome to your slice of paradise! Our handcrafted 2 1/2 story log accent home is located in the West hills of Fairbanks, Alaska. Surrounded by staggering mountain, river, airport and city views, you will undoubtedly feel miles and miles away from home while delighting in your freshly renovated, newly furnished 2 bedroom 1 bath ground level apartment.
Bedrooms are amply sized and have queen size beds with extra linens. Bathroom has a shower and plenty of extra towels for your convenience and a well lit vanity. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, cutlery and has all new 2013 stainless appliances. Lots of counter space for your cooking convenience . There is seating for 2-4 people at the bar and seating for 3 in the dining area. A newly added spacious patio with seating for 6 will without question be a bbq/dining pleasure.

The room is very clean and warm. The landlord outs really nice, too.
Clean, comfortable beds. House has beautiful view and unfortunately could not sit outside on the outdoor setting due to bugs. Not the owners fault but Pack bug spray, mosquitoes were Bad. Good location to base oneself for touring the area.
This place was great. We were amazed at how short the trip was from the airport and how quiet and tranquil it was when we arrived. Shannon was there to greet us, even providing a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The unit was well equipped with everything needed and the beds were actually quite comfortable. The wall of windows overlooking the city and mountain bring in a lot of sunshine and an awesome view even if it's raining :) Very roomy for 2 couples or small family. If we come back to the area, this will be the first place we look to stay. Thanks for everything!
Spent the weekend in Fairbanks during the ice carving competition and this place was perfect! We are a couple with a 7 month old and the place had plenty of amenities and the space. Love the fact this place sits outside of the city area and has an amazing view of Fairbanks. Only 13 min drive from airport. Also a nice place to park our big SUV away from the house to not bother the owners was a plus. We will stay again when we visit Fairbanks.
This property was fantastic and offered stunning views from above Fairbanks onto the city below. In addition, it wasn't drowned by city light so, if the conditions were right, it would have been perfect for viewing the Northern Lights. Unfortunately for us, it was a little too cloudy on our visit. But we were treated to a gorgeous sunrise in the morning.
The property is modern with all the amenities you would need in the kitchen (spices, oil, cooking supplies, etc. for anyone inclined to cook their own meals), bathroom (towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, etc.), a TV with tons of channels, comfortable beds, and fast Internet. It is also close to downtown Fairbanks and a few great restaurants and bars.
Shannon was also very friendly and helpful and responded to all of our questions, even suggesting places for us to eat on Thanksgiving. Thanks for the great stay, hope to see you again!
Private, with great valley views. Very comfortable for 1 or 2 couples/children. Exceptionally clean. Smells/looks new! Close to airport. Shannon stayed in touch during reservation process. If ever back in Fairbanks would rent in a heartbeat. Wonderful AK community. Recommending to family.
