About Lee Brown
My husband is the original owner of this home, he had it built and it has been enjoyed over the years by our family.
Lee Brown purchased this House in 1993
Why Lee Brown chose Rawsonville
It sets on 90 secluded acres in the mountains close to skiing and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Not far from Skiing, Manchester, the Dorset horse show, Weston Playhouse, Lowell Lake and more.
What makes this House unique
We always enjoy the wood burning fireplace, relaxing on the deck, the rejuvenating hot tub and the peaceful feel when visiting.

A wonderful stay
The house is beautiful. The owners are very responsive. We had a wonderful stay . Thank you.
We had a great time staying at Lee's home. It was a wonderful surprise to have donuts and coffee waiting for us. The house was very clean, beautiful and comfortable. Our dogs enjoyed it too. Thank you so much for everything!
The house was spacious, clean and well stocked! Lee gave us great tips on local fishing, hiking, restaurants and shopping. She was always quick to respond to any questions and so very helpful! Location was great for all of our outdoor activities. We didn't want to leave!
Nice Family Getaway
My family and I stayed there during a holiday weekend. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and a baby. There are three bathrooms, which made it a breeze for everyone to get ready in the morning. The property is secluded and provided a nice relaxing environment. The owner was wonderful and was great at communicating with us when we reached out to her during our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!
Lovely Family Stay in Summer
I was visiting the area with my family (including 2 young kids) and absolutely loved this place. It’s on a long hidden driveway off the main route (so very accessible to what’s nearby but safe for kids). The home itself was well kept and had a total “getting away” vibe. I loved the fireplaces - the home had a lot of charm (and lots of room)!
We had everything we needed and Lee was so wonderful. We arrived with fresh coffee grounds and cream in the fridge and fresh fruit to enjoy. She was readily accessible with any questions and gave us great recommendations where we could find parks for the kids!
Would totally stay here again (and hope to!)
We are just a few minutes from skiing at Stratton Mountain, Bromley, Magic and a little further to Okemo and Mt.Snow ski areas, (Killington is a little further at 1.15 hours) . Manchester is about 20 minutes away and provides outlet shopping and a wide variety of fine restaurants to choose from (about 10 restaurants within 5-10 minutes from the house too). The Weston and Dorset playhouses are favorites and the famous Vermont Country Store is nearby in Weston! If you enjoy antiquing there are shops galore and if you'd rather a brewery tour then VT has many micro-breweries to visit. There are great local swimming holes, rivers to enjoy, paddle boarding, Kayak, Canoe and mountain bike rentals, hiking trails, Lowell Lake, Snowmobiling, Paintball, ATV tours and more, just ask for details on what you are interested in and we can help direct you. Winter visitors should visit in AWD or 4WD vehicles with winter tires:) We are in the mountains of Vermont and our driveway is uphill so when you get to the house you have a pretty and local hillside view.
