Cape Charles Vacation Rentals
Fishing Beach Vacation
The property is laid out very nice. We love the decor.
This is our second stay in this rental and will rent again.
The only draw back is the bed is very old, noisy and the springs leave you sore in the morning.
Best service ever
I was hospitalized unexpectedly the day I was to check-in and they refunded my stay after my daughter explained what had happened.. Which means I will never stay anywhere else any time I visit Cape Charles. Thank you for your amazing customer service!
LOVED IT! BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED!
We rented this charming apartment not knowing much about the area, but were on a 5 day much needed vacation from a hectic work schedule. When we arrived, the outside was nice and well manicured, but not on the typical tree lined Cape Charles street that is indicative of this town. When we booked, we actually did not know where the house was in relation to anything in Cape Charles. But after picking up our keys, we were pleasantly surprised and pleased to find it was right at the end of Mason Street, the main drag, in this quaint, quiet, “New England feeling” small town. If you are not familiar with Cape Charles, you literally can walk the business area in a matter of about 15 minutes at a slow pace. So, in a nutshell, we were that close to everything! We brought our bikes and our small boat which was the best decision we made as far as location and transportation. The public marina was a 5 minute bike ride and 2 minute car/boat trailer ride from this charming house. And the ramp to put our boat in was probably among the best you could possibly ever find. So easy, nice, with no boats and trailers lined up. My husband is a full time boat captain for a Sportfishing boat, the Anticipation, Out of Charleston, SC, and Virginia Beach, so he has been to plenty of marinas and docks during his long career on the water to compare it to. Now for the house. Wow! We unlocked the front door and were blown away. The inside was decorated so nicely and it was so clean. I don’t think I can post pictures but I will on Yelp or Trip Advisor. The owners took a great deal of time making this large one bedroom apartment an amazing place to be. The king sized bed is SOOOOO comfortable and we are true “bed snobs” after sleeping in our own which we have always said could win the “best comfort” award. And the open shower is just beautiful. There is too much to mention to make this review as perfect as we want it to be. Fortunately, I did find the owners name on some mail we brought in and I plan to write them a personal note. It if I fail to do that, just know that this is a wonderful, clean, comfortable place to stay in this sweet, peaceful little town! Thank you to these owners for taking such meticulous care of this precious place! It is a memory we will truly never forget and if you ever need tips on where to stay in Charleston, SC, let us know!

Wonderful Quaint Property
I couldn't asked for a better vacation. The house is wonderfully decorated and laid out. Very roomy!
Lovely, quirky, convenient
We weren't sure if we were going to like being right on Mason, but the property actually faces Nectarine so plenty of parking, no traffic noise, convenient to walk downtown and some nights we (with our two small dogs) made it all the way to the beach and back. The apartment itself was very comfortable. It was a wonderful for us.
The Cape Charles Beach is perfect for young families. Never crowded, no big waves, shallow water close in to shore. The fishing pier is free with fishing gear available in town. Great shops and restaurants on the main street one block away. Kiptopeke State Park with a great beach, fishing pier, boat ramps and nature trails only 6 miles away and near the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge also with trails and bird watching.
Only 1.5 hours north is Chincoteague and the Assateague National Seashore where wild ponies (Misty of Chincoteague) roam. Assateague has an Atlantic Ocean beach.
If you want to spend a day or two with day trips, the Virginia Beach ocean front is a little over 1 hour away with loads of shops and nightlife. Williamsburg and Busch Gardens are 80 miles and the Virginia Aquarium is about 70 minutes away.
Golf: World class Bay Creek golf courses are just 5 minutes away. An hour away in Virginia Beach are numerous other golf courses.
