For 24 years this cozy house on the NE corner of Eagle Lake was our home and our family loved every minute of it. We especially enjoyed the sunsets and cool lake breezes.
Tucked away behind high hedges, the house is a perfect place to retreat from the busy world. A side deck provides a place to slip away to read and relax.
The rear deck has a pleasant view of the lake. Lakeside, a flagstone terrace lends itself to grilling and lounging.
Two kayaks with PFDs are available for those who wish to venture out onto, rather than into, the water.
Inside, the house features an open floor plan, three bedrooms, and bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is equipped with full-sized stove and microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, basic cooking utensils, pots, pans and table settings for 8.
Quaint charming cottage in quiet neighborhood. Photos depict house precisely. Although there was no air conditioning the area was very shady and evening breezes kept conditions comfortable. Small yard but large enough to play bean bags and ladder golf. Side porch good place for reading. A lounge chair would have made it a good place for a nap too. Daughter enjoyed reading down by water. Was little disappointed no sand/beach area for 3yr-old to play on. Easy to get to Willmar. Fun amusement park and great playground at Spicer which was a short distance. Would highly recommend.
This cabin is lacking in many UBC health and safety Items, such as hand rails. The furnishings are old cheap and worn out. There is NO air conditioning and it is very hard to get cross ventilation the way the house is arraigned.
I could go on with this review but will only say vacationers beware.
Quiet neighborhood on the lake. Convenient location. Very nice people in the area. Highly recommended

This cabin is pretty much as described--cozy & comfortable. The cabin is in need of a few upgrades and TLC, but user friendly. There is no TV, which would have been nice to have since we had some storms come through. The neighborhood is very quiet--so made for a relaxing Labor Day weekend.
There were seven of us at the cabin and it was wonderful. The cabin was very simple but perfect for us. We rented a pontoon boat from Recreation Rentals and spent most of our time on the lake. When we came back to the cabin, it met all of our needs. We spent every evening on the stone patio next to the lake where we enjoyed a nice fire. The stone patio provided a bug-free experience. The owners were very accommodating and always answered all of our questions. Great rental!
