We're Rathanak and Sokha, a happily married couple with a beautiful story to share. We met each other at a hotel where we both worked, and the rest is history. Our journey as a family began with the arrival of our two incredible children, Prithy and Mutta. They bring so much joy and inspiration to our lives.
From late 2017, we decided to transform our adversity into opportunity. We converted two rooms in my parents' house into a cozy guesthouse, which we lovingly named "Prithy & Mutta House." Our dreams were larger than just providing accommodations; we wanted to create an experience that would allow our guests to immerse themselves in Cambodia's rich culture.
Hospitable and customer-focused, we are genuinely passionate about providing exceptional service to our guests. We love sharing our deep-rooted knowledge of Khmer home cooking and the fascinating history of Siem Reap. It's our way of making every stay special and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.
Our hard work and dedication have paid off, earning us positive reviews and recognition from respected booking platforms. Being listed as one of the top five B&Bs and inns in Siem Reap has been an incredible honor, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.
Like many others in the tourist industry, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on our business. We had to temporarily close our homestay. However, we didn't let adversity stop us. In a bold move to support our family, I started selling food on the street, a venture that helped sustain us during challenging times.
