Great couple that have been married for 29 years and currently reside on the lovely Island of Bermuda. We love to share our experience and beautiful property to any visitors that love the water and want to create memories that will last forever.
Although near the road and with a restaurant on site, this property is a beautiful, peaceful, serine, and safe atmosphere. with water striking the rocks below, and the breeze flowing through the open windows, gives you a good nights sleep , there is also air- conditioning through out the house, if you do not desire the cool breeze coming off the shores of the ocean.
Breakfast, lunch or dinner on site, swim when it is not rough. There is Wifi, and there is also snorkeling available on site if you desire, rent a mope with owners discount. The owners go the extra mile to ensure their guest have a wonderful vacation.
Thanks so much Jennifer for your Bermudian hospitality from start to finish.
We arrived late and you stayed to prepare us an excellent Bermudian fish dinner from The Flame. The accommodations were excellent for our family of 5 adults, with a lovely living room overlooking the ocean, a well appointed kitchen and a full dining room.We enjoyed the terrace and deck for leisurely breakfasts. Where the Waters Meet has easy access to Hamilton and St.George by bus or taxi.We no trouble getting around the island and saw many sites. Among our favourite outing were St.George's, the climb to the top of the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity with a panorama view of Hamilton, and hiking on the Railway Trail. Food in Bermuda was ample, tasty and expensive.
Jen was an excellent host, pointing us in the right direction, solicitous of our wellbeing and over the top helpful and accommodating.
Thanks so much for your assistance
It was a great birthday celebration for me
What an awesome place! My wife and I are celebrating thirty years of marriage and we choose to stay with Jenny and Greg at their beautiful place in Devonshire, right on the water. We brought our two adult children as well, and were amazed at the wonderful accommodations and the hospitality of Jenny. She took us to the market the first day and we got all the supplies we needed for food and drink. This property is located across from a bus stop, but if you can, arrange to get mopeds, as the bus wait can be sometimes long and hot. We also found a driver willing to pick us up at a moments notice anywhere we were on the Island. One suggestion, bring frozen meat to cut down the cost. Everything is either flown or shipped in. Meals out can be pricy, so we brought frozen steaks, chicken and turkey burgers, and were able to bbq four dinners on site. Most other staples are available, but just expensive. We also brought cereals and coffee. It was a good choice. We toured the Island on mopeds, getting lost on most trips, but as the Island is only 20 miles long, and there are only three main roads, I never had to pull out a map! Jenny's restaurant, The Flame, makes a killer drink combination, as well as lots of other delicious meals. We would highly recommend this location to anyone, and hope to go back this winter for a quick get away!
The experience was among the best I've ever had. The home owners are real people with real family and amazing attitudes. Not one request or inquiry were denied. I want to come back with my whole family. I would totally suggest the home to others. If your looking for relaxation, exploration and satisfaction look no more. I left with new friends and new memories that will last a lifetime. Thank You Greg and Jen. You made this an amazing trip for me and my family.
The first week of June we celebrated our oldest grandson's high school graduation in Bermuda at the home of Jennifer and Greg. The house had views of the ocean and sunset that were spectacular from every room. The ocean was our private back yard. Our eighteen and seven year old grandsons loved the snorkeling and fishing off the flat rocks that protruded out into the water. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. Jen was so gracious to take us grocery shopping and also to the bus terminal to purchase bus and ferry tickets for the week. The bus stop was located near the house and was very convenient. The food from her restaurant was a real treat.
Before the week ended Jen was like family. We made precious memories that will last a life time. Would love to return. It will always have a special place in our hearts.
I swore I wrote a review before, but I'm not seeing it, so here I go again. This was our first ever international trip and it was wonderful. Jennifer and Greg were a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful on all levels! Jennifer booked our scooters and took us to the grocery to get supplies. We also ordered a few meals from The Flame, which were very good. The view from the property is AMAZING and we did snorkel (brought our own gear). Don't forget water shoes! Those rocks hurt. I can't wait to make it back sometime!
This is the most wonderful property in Bermuda. Everything about our experience was the best of the best. The house is large on the water with a beautiful deck with views that are not to be believed from every room. The house is well equipped. We cooked most days and the kitchen was great. On days we didn't want to cook, the restaurant , the Flame, on the property is great. Transportation was easy as the bus stop in right across the street.
Now I saved the best for last. It was a pleasure and an honor to meet Jen and Gregg. I know previous reviews have mention how helpful they are but that only tells half the story. They are such wonderful people who couldn't do enough to make our vacation special. I hope at we can keep in touch as I feel after a week that they are friends. In summary, anyone will be lucky to have a vacation to remember at Jen and Gregg's fantastic property!
