Spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, walk to many local attractions

Originally the warehouse was one level above the street and a cellar below. Now the building has 2 levels, building onto the original stone walls creating the main bedroom, with queen size bed, ensuite including shower and freestanding bath and a balcony overlooking Divett St and the Port's historic buildings. There's a light filled sitting room adjacent the stairs, laundry and rear deck facing north. Downstairs you enter of Divett st into a spacious living , dinning and kitchen with modern facilities. The 2nd bedroom with queen size futon and single bed option are directly behind the kitchen up 3 steps.The bathroom is directly opposite bedroom and easily accessible from living space.

The warehouse had been neglected for many years until 1996 when it was partially restored and used as an artist studio and gallery. Recently the building has been adapted to an apartment and artist studio, blending modern design with 19th century maritime architecture.

The apartment offers guests comfortable and spacious accommodation over two levels whether your stay is for business or a holiday.

Experience Port Adelaide’s maritime precinct historic buildings, the Port river loop walk, museums, galleries, hotels, restaurants, arts and culture all within easy walking distance.

Nearby places to visit include historic coastal towns of Semaphore, Grange and Henley Beach, the Quarantine Station, International Bird Sanctuary and wetlands.

Gaffstudio Apartment will give guests the opportunity to share in the experience a building and Port that has so many significant cultural and historical maritime stories. Much of the building's architectural features have been retained since we purchased it 1996, establishing a gallery and artists studios and now an apartment and studio off the rear lane way. We are pleased to be able to share with guest the buildings past and present.

Fabulous accommodation

The accommodation is a beautifully converted warehouse in a great location, quiet but only a couple of minutes walk to the Port's dining precinct. . The owner, Peter, could not have been more accommodating. I especially appreciated the bottle of red and the nibblies that were waiting for me. Thank you Peter.
