The property is stunning and Alan the owner is passionate about what he had created. It is a very tranquil and bucolic setting with stunning views. There is a wonderful river walk if you enjoy hiking and many activities within 30 minutes of property.
Great host and beautiful scenery
Best place to Stay in Ireland
Alan was super friendly and very hospitable. The place was clean and comfortable and the breakfast items were wonderful! Wished we could have stayed longer.
Perfect location to start your vacation.
This rental was the perfect way to begin our Ireland adventure. The view is everything you imagine Ireland would be. The sound of sheep and cows crazing the fields across the river is so calming. We were entertained for hours watching the antics of the lambs and baby cows. The rental is spotless, and very light and bright. Alan took us for a tour around the property and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. There was a fishing pole ready for guests to try their luck in the river, which we did. You can walk the trail next to the river for over 100 miles. Great location alternative to staying in Kilkenny. Would highly recommend this rental as the starting point for your Ireland vacation.
Oh how we wished we had more time to enjoy this property. Absolutely lovely!
Beautiful landscaping and modern accommodations with a little ancient Ireland right out front.
The accommodations were very modern and inviting. The views and landscaping are fantastic with the ruins of a chapel to St. Brigid dating to 200 AD on the property. Alan, our host, is friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend staying here and we were remiss we did not stay more than one night. Well worth booking for several nights and exploring Killarney just down the road.
