Our Review
Nice place, just as advertised. Our only main issue was the front door keyless entry dead bolt that was difficult to get to lock and unlock.

Nasty Place
It was a horrible experience. Jerome and his girlfriend was very responsive at first.. It was advertised and we were told there was driveway parking available. We had to wait 3 hours for someone to come move their broke down car from driveway. Not knowing the area we did not feel comfortable parking on the street. The dresser drawers in 2nd bedroom was filthy nasty. Jerome and his girlfriend responded right away to the driveway and drawers. They came and put contact paper in dresser drawers. They were so nice and very responsive on day 1 but on day 2 with the infested roaches in the stove. I called that morning and Jerome came and put 4 bombs out around 5:00 about 15 mins before we returned and did not warn us and we walked in and immediately started coughing and gagging from the strong smell. I call and Jerome comes and clean up the residue himself and stated he is not paying no cleaning person. There were flying cockroaches flying around while Jerome was in the house. He, Jerome the owner lifted the stove top while I was talking to him about the many roaches coming out and we saw what I first thought was a bunch of dead roaches when Jerome stated no that it was droppings of some sort and he stated they looked like mice droppings. We had to leave for our next event and Jerome did nothing about droppings or dead roaches in the stove or even contacted me back. I called several times and sent several text for the reminder of the stay and no response form Jerome or his girlfriend. I was very uncomfortable there and furious because there were no hotels available due to the event going on and I had already paid my money to Jerome through this site. The carpet was filthy dirty, there was water damage on the walls and ceiling in living room, water leaking in living room, sagged flooring, water damage floors, stains on walls in bedroom, dead cockroaches, sunken couch, etc. The only good and updated thing about that house was the bathroom and there were roaches in the tub. My next stay and any other stay in New Orleans will be at a hotel. I am done with private owner rentals after this horrible experience. I have pictures to post and share if I can find a way to post them. I do not recommend this place at all. It was very obvious they only cared about getting money not the upkeep of their property or the customer comfort and well being. I wish I could write more and share my pictures. Feel free to contact me before renting from Jerome.

New Orleans stay
House was fine. Rooms and beds comfortable. Plenty for 3 or 4. Plenty of cooking utensils but we ate out a lot. Some mix ups with internet and television at first but got straightened out quickly. House looked very nice from the outside but, floors were not flat and there were some bugs. Mostly Palmetto bugs. Since they were not paying any rent, They had to go. After that I needed to check the bed sheets before I went to sleep.

Quirky bookstores and indie clothing boutiques line Oak Street, while Palmer Park has a popular monthly art market.
