Well-located three-level three-bedroom townhouse in a street straight out of a movie set.

Comfortable three-level townhouse in a street that our three boys thought looked like it was straight out of the movie, Paddington. To add to the movie set feel, across the road is The Thames and the MI6 building that was blown up in the Bond movie, Skyfall. Well-located for transport, including the ferry, red double-decker buses and the tube, and for walking up to Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guards, and to Westminster for the Churchill War Rooms. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms split over three levels. Living room very small once you set up the foldaway table for five. Street light shining into bedroom and traffic noise at night but all part of city life. Pimlico seems to have little in the way of food markets or cafes but we found a supermarket five minutes walk away across the Vauxhall Bridge. Lovely owner living downstairs left us a very welcome bottle of wine in the fridge and came up to meet us just before we left.

Perfect place to stay for your London vacation!

We had a wonderful stay . The house was perfect for our family of 5 . The location was the best - close to the tube and buses and a quick ride from everywhere you would want to visit. John was so great to work with and made everything very easy for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Sightseeing Location

This place and it's owner were a godsend for our vacation. We had another owner cancel on us last minute and John came to our rescue. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with supreme access to Bus and Tube lines. Many, many many small restaurants and easy grocery shopping near by. Pubs yes! In the mornings I ran the river Thames all the way to Trafalgar square and back easy passage. I can't express enough what a find this property is. Thank you John and neighborhood sweetheart Randall at the floral shop for all your help. Cheers! Jeff

Unbeatable Location

If you want a great property, in a great location, with a great host, then this is the one for you. We stayed for 6 nights in June, and could not have hoped for a better place to stay. With the river literally just across the road; tube stations, overland lines, buses, shops, cafés, and restaurants just a few minutes walk away, Johns house really is fantastically positioned for all you need to do and see in London.

The street itself is beautiful; so pretty, clean and quiet. It's true, there are siren noises, but that's true of everywhere in London, and you shouldn't let that be a reason not to stay here.

The house has everything you need, and more than enough room for a comfortable stay. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are huge, with the 3rd being a more 'normal' size. 2 bathrooms worked wonderfully for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers). The kitchen has all the appliances you need, and living room is cosy and comfortable.

We got to meet John during our stay, and that was lovely. He's so polite and approachable.

You won't regret it if you book this accommodation. We would highly recommend it, and would definitely stay again.

Amazing location & Host, good accomodations

We had a great stay at this apartment for a week in May 2017. The location and ease of access is excellent with a short walk to plenty of Sites and Landmarks as well as local restaurants and shops. John was an amazing and very thoughtful and accommodative host. John was easy to communicate with and provided lots of details and support both before and during our stay.

Regarding the apartment ... it was very clean and in good condition and suitable for our needs. There is no airconditioning and the heaters are radiators in each room. Bathrooms were good and had everything needed in good condition. Wifi and TV works great. The kitchen was great with the refrigerator and the stove which worked very well. The only issue was the loud and frequent noise from the nearby streets, particularly from sirens (police / ambulance). Otherwise, we had an excellent stay and would recommend this apartment.
